i am lvl 72, so i am using santenza's guide. i stocked up and the brothers weren't hard. half of my runes and arrows and p pots were left. i got torag at the tunnels and i thought he is the easiest brother.my prayer was 0 and i didn't frink pots because i didn't need to. so i start to open doors and BAM! torag. lol, i was happy to finally get him so i click prayer. no prayer. by the time i got that i was at half hp. i'm confused but i managed to drink a pot. by the time i realised it it was bye-bye barrows, hello fally!

The biggest mistake people make in Barrows is not in the tombs, but in the Tunnel..

 

 

 

Easy to confused and not prep'd for brother when you open door.

 

Lesson here...

 

When in tunnel your prayer is most likely always 0

 

Always Have your inv screen open and ready to sip ppot.

 

Get your health close to 100%

 

If you open door and brother is there, go back through the same door (other way) and get your Prayer up then protect and go back in (be aware of twins)

However that has the risk of spawning a twin.

 

 

 

What you should do, thefiring, is be extra cautious. Also, why didn't you eat? What made you so confident that you could take Torag without prayer? Many people are able to take him without prayer but obviously you did something wrong.

yeah i go out the door and pot up but i only do that on dh but its really bad when you go back through the door and this happens:

the thing that suprised me was that they were both attacking me in a single combat area. :roll: fix your game jagex thats like "omg my prayer ran out" *gets 2 hit by both dh*

lol ive had a few close calls in the tunnels aswell,as said above best to keep inventory open so as soon as brother appears you can pot

Try doing your first barrows run without any food. :roll:

remember ring of life next time lol you'll learn that lesson fast.

Put a sticky on your screen that says "PRAYER DRAINS IN BARROWS CRYPTS AND TUNNELS". Or just repeat and learn.

Doesnt matter what sort of confidence you have, when you are NOT praying on a brother, make sure that you have met him at least 30 times before you make your judgment. Also never EVER fight a brother with no armor (i am assuming that you are using monk's robes at the time, as per Satenza's guide), if you want to fight a melee brother with no prayer, make sure you wear rune armor, legs and kite before you think about it.

 

 

 

Also, overconfidence, as well as ignorance, kills people in the Barrow runs. Never underestimate them. Yes tip's site said that he is the easiest brother, but EASIEST and EASY are not the same word.
