Denteon
ah there is a much simpler and easy way, what you do is make the window small so only the game window shows, scroll down so just the game window shows and the ad is hidden, the ad will no longer slow ur game down at all, hope this helps
Dilts36
yeh they do kinda slow the game down but all you have to do is get P2P
dargonhuman
The right-click trick only works on FLash ads, and many new ads are disabling this feature (there have been a number of newer Flash ads that have had severaly reduced right-click menus.) The only surefire way to stop ad lag is to resize the window and scroll the sidebar down to hide the ad, like Denteon suggested. --Darg-- Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) n64jive
jagex doesnt control their advertisement, and adverts have evolved since the good ol days of internet. With the speed of computers and internet these days, most ads are now flash ads or animated ads due to the fact that most computers can run them. Maybe your computer is a lil outdated and your internet connection may be also....in this case, it is time for you to put yourself on the market for another computer. RSgamer
or just report the ad for abuse of animations. Click the ? by the ad, tell CS about the ad in full detail, and they might remove it.

TimeStopper
Is that quote from Spongebob? But yeah the ads don't get much clickage, so they have to make it a "game" and that slows it down. Like forum text games much?um... from... MARS, yes, in the third county from the... left.
