So how do YOU train herby?

bookrhino

Recommended Posts

Alrighty then! I've updated the results...it took me almost an hour -.-.

Anyways, the results are probably right, but don't be too surprised if they are a little off. It's a lot of data to sort through, and I actually ran into some odd kinks along the way.

I've developed a more organized system that will help me do this processing quicker and more accurately, so keep on posting! :D

9 - None of the answers given, I only keep tarromin and up, as I use the horns needed for marrentill for Super Anti because it gives more XP that way. Before I only left guams because it was too juch trouble to keep buying loads of eyes :P

Dude never argue with an idiot. They drag you dwn to their level and then beat you with experience.

I'm 99 Herblore, ranked 5th in the Highscores. I hit my 99 herblore using the market. I bought herbs, i bought 2nds, i bought vials, and i sold my potions.

I mostly made Super Sets as a lot of people needed and wanted to buy them.

I had many Contacts, merchanters, dealers, friends who i made business with.

If you're looking to just raise the skill and do it fast, the market is the only option.

If you're looking to raise the skill a bit, make some profit etc, then i suggest killing druids, keeping some herbs and selling others.

Updated again! It seems like the numbers are starting to stabilize, and soon enough I will be able to make an educated report on training herby.

We've had many replies, from those that have just started trying out the skill to the 5th best herbalist in runescape!

If you guys could provide some advice, that would be great.

Keep it up!

Heres what I used to do:

Herb lvl: 75

Trained almost all of it by getting my own herbs from Blood tower at the beginning and later from the yanille dungeon after lvl 73.

I never trained by buying/selling herbs or the 2nd ingredients -- collected all myself. The only pots I sold were the super sets and range pots after keeping a stock of at least 100 ea for myself.
