August 6, 200619 yr i play the electric guitar never had any lesson though i just browse tabs fromthe internet
August 7, 200619 yr I play the drums and have been for 8 years. I started in middle school wanting to learn to play the bass. But my schools music class did not teach that. So i joined the marching band learning how to play the bass drum (i like alot of bass in my music =P ) So from there i started with marching percussion tymponies(SP?) basic marching snare, then i got a snare for one xmas and started playing that alot more. I started to play around with the drum set at the school i went to and fell in love with it. I played in a few bands and have come close with a few people who have now made it pretty big. After a while alot of people started playing drums and i found it hard to find bands to play in, so i said hey... Ill just start writing my own music. So i now program my own music on the computer. The programs i use are REASON and FRUITY LOOPS. Ive produced a few people now and its awesome. I say that anyone who likes to write music should go get a free demo of fruity loops off there site. August 19, 200619 yr I feel so stupid for not posting earlier! I have been playing the trumpet, sort of on and off, for 6 years now. For the length of time I've been playing though, I'm probably horrible! I can only go up to 3rd A :(. I know, my range stinks! I've also played the piano, flute, and guitar, but when I was younger. I forget most of it now, unfortunately.

The key I think is a good tone. I don't care if somebody can squeek a triple high C if it sounds like butt. I'd rather someone have range yours but sound beautiful.

A lot of people I know can play above a C...thank god they don't go to my school so I can remain the first trumpet  I'm thinking about going back to trumpet lessons to develop my range and things...we'll see if my parents are willing to fork up some $ for that one!
