well although i see some disliked it, i find this article more down-to-earth, or so it seems. it looks to me as if the editor (whoever he/she is) is getting more on our level and talking as one would to a peer in conversation rather than as one would to a large group of unrecognisable faces.

all in all, i found it had tood points and was overall a good read, if short.

I thought that was a great article that I could really relate to. I cant sit still and level up one skill for hours on end without the boredom factor hitting me. I usualy dont enjoy quests but I can defently see the point he is trying to make. Good job :D

not too bad of an article, not the best, but not the worst.

eh, f2p is pretty boring once you reach the 70s with no quests left training becomes a chore, and pking can be annoying without the right stats (i.e. anything not a pure.), so by then you either need to get p2p, quit, find something else to do, or become a ooc recruit :P.

i did the latter, and now i don't exactly need p2p to find stuff to do, i just hang out at the ooc cabbage patch and am no longer bored. :D

eh, i have fun reading about the updates p2p gets though, i don't mind because i know that i can't exactly get p2p yet, i have to worry about college first.

RAVE BREAK!

Same here, although I do enjoy most of the quests, and have done most.

Besides a break in the routine, there's usually some boost in XP in places, new weapon or armor or ability, and you get more points in the Guthix minigame.

When I first started playing Runescape, I wondered what would happen when I ran out of things to do. These days, several years later, I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m not sure that I ever will run out of things to do. The way Jagex is pumping out updates, enhancements, new quests and mini-games, it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s almost more than a person with a full-time job and a life can do to keep up with it all. I wonder what my boss would say if I told him I needed to take a few weeks vacation so I could catch up with what̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s going on in the world of Runescape? On second thought, that might not be such a good idea.

I thought about that, when I ran out of things to do when I was a noob, I would just train, I would get like 5 combat levels a day, I was very succesfull at training :D

Overall..The thing wasn't that interesting like other Tip.it times..

There have been mixed comments in reply to this article: some people agree with the sentiment, whilst others found it fairly boring.

I am firmly in the former camp. I dig quests and all they entail and found the article enjoyable and reassuring.

I have been playing for 11 months now and had completed all the quests there were after about 8 months I was that keen on them. I saw (and still see) others of similar levels and below who were/are much richer (in GP terms) than me and realised that one of RuneScape's great strengths is that it caters for all sorts of tastes - Purers. mad-rush Levellers, Adventurers, Merchanters and even (spit) PKers - what a great game.

I too look forward to the Moon Clan quest and hope that the new fairy quest might rid us of those annoying episodes in Zanaris.

Thanks Mr Editor!
