rofl, i agree with that article totally. I wondered what i would do when i had done everything.......2 years later and i am still 5 quests behind completing them all, just did "in aid of the myreque" last night...still halfway through 2 others. They do break up the levelling process and also provide a distraction away from it all. I actually met a certain Eeeeeeediot during regicide and he was more than happy to stay and chat for a while, (thnx m8, u is still on my list).

I do look forward to all the new and exciting updates that come out and feel rather priviedged and lucky to receive it all for only $5 ( ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã3.20) a month what a bargain (please dont argue about this point...there r already threads in rants etc for u to do that).

I feel the best part is all the history and background information that you learn as you go through plus the continuation of at least 4 different storylines which carry you along..even the difficult/annoying ones. There is always a sense of acheivement when they are completed, and yes i do look up help from the quests quide once in a while, thats what they are there for. :D

Nice one Mr Editor, i dont always agree with your artcicles but this time you are right on the money as far as i am concerrned

I didn't really enjoy that article, since it lacked interesting things and a center, kind of like a thread that's been torn apart. #-o

Could I actually write articles for the Tip.it times myself?

Overall a pretty good article. I get the same way when I train - I tend to lose interest fast. Then I tend to start posting on forums and train at the same time... kinda like now...

It only takes a couple days before I get bored of something. Zezima I am not.

The link in "July Observations" (in the quote) links to the previous article, not the current one.

Typo, thanks for pointing that out. Fixed.

Ehh, it was ok. Seemed more like a kissup to jagex then an opinionative article IMO.

I didn't enjoy that article as much as I have the previous ones. It lacked a basic story and interesting details. To me it didn't have that much of a point to it. No offense, but it wasn't one of your best ones,

nice article, i liked it. I personaly have only just started reading the tip.it times lately. Infact, this must be the most active i've been on these forums since i joined. I'm really starting to like chatting to everyone here, and the constant help that goes on around. Thanks everyone for a enjoyable read O:)

W0ot 22nd Post!

Anyway, the article lacked a bit of substance, quite unlike previous articles.

You made all those f2p'ers out there jealous telling them of all the updates, how you could never run out of things to do. =P~

I had a laugh when you mentioned..."Now, while I wouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t lend him my party hat (I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m generous, just not that generous!)" ...You couldn't resist Mr Editor.

I spend most of my time in the Rants forums because I'm a fan of controversy, so at first, I was only mildly entertained with this week's article.

Then I saw Kiara Kat's link to an article containing this quote:

Remember that the site recieves 10 times the number of visitors as this forum and there is real power to bring up important issues to the masses.

Then the thought occured to me that there is more whining going on in the Rants forum than actual rants. This is probably caused by a growing sense of entitlement in the gaming community (young and old) and negative attitudes feeding off each other. The only real way to combat this is to facilitate more positive sentiments and expose those sentiments to the RS gaming community in such a way as to act as a sort of "positive peer pressure". If this article acts as more ammunition against the growing negativity and prevents just a few would-be whines in the Rants forum, then I'm grateful for it.

Omits one big "observation", though perhaps an article could be mafe out of this alone....

THE FANCY BOOTS EPIDEMIC!

Wherever you go, whatever you do, everyone's wearing those stripey boots, and those that aren't, are usually asking about them.
