bloodkilla87
As i was browsing RSC i noticed something that i was going to bring up earlier. Why, at the end of some posts, do people go like " ~Bloodkilla87" I personally dont see why it is nesessary. For some people, they already have their name in their sig and avatar, so why do you they have to write it at the end of their post. Heres an example. The red isnt what bothers me, its the yellow. xvillexvalox
I guess some people think it's cool? Or maybe they're just used to doing that after using Runescape forums where signatures don't exist. XvXvX (jk)

Uldric
So they can stand out from the crowd. Same with people writing in different colour or font size, just crying out for attention that they probably don't get in real life. **-/-\~#()^^Uldric^^()#~/-\-**

Mercifull
Its ok when people dont have a regular signature but it just looks cluttered when people have both. Biabf
On the Runescape officaly forums people do it because there are no actualy signature. Hope this helps. -=.=.=()(BiA)()=.=.=-
Pete_the_Viscous
I personally think it looks cluttered whether or not they have it in their signature. If it says it anywhere else on their post, then it seems unnecessary to me. deviantart account
Duke_Freedom
Well, if you make long posts it's handy for people that they can read who wrote it at the end of the post as well. But I don't get why people put it both in their signature and at the end of their posts either. The value of my bank at its height. Kewl_Sabre
^^^What people up there have said. The guy's probably just used to putting it in other forums or on the official forums. That, or he's an egotistical maniac who needs to see his own name all over the place.

logic-is-overrated
It seems like it would be too much work for me. Take an average of an extra 5 letters per post which is about an extra word per post. Take an average of about 4 posts per day. That gives you 4 extra words a day. Average about 10 words per sentence. An extra sentence every 2 and a half days. That gives you about 146 sentences per year. Even if we take the average paragraph in a post to be about 10 sentences that still gives almost 15 paragraphs a year. After 3-4 years, that's almost a little pamphlet! This is the way the world ends. Look at this [bleep]ing shit we're in man. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. And with a whimper, I'm splitting, Jack. knives669
I always wondered why people did it too. :P But, I never really cared enough to ask... It didn't really bother me one way or the other.
