Barrows - What the?????

I was just at barrows and fighting verac in tunnels - just going along with my protect from melee on and he starts hitting me through protect from melee.

First time I thought must be lag or something, but he did it three times - It freaked me out so I ectoed leaving him there.

Has anyone else ever had this problem?

All you should need is a few extra food. If you use prayer on verac, continue using it. He hits less often and for less damage than if you don't use prayer. So all you should need is a few extra food (and if you usually have food leftover, then it shouldn't make much difference)

If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.

Dude, Barrow armours are the best armours in the game. They change this because Barrows aren't meant to be a fast money makers.

Think about it, melee barrow items costs at least 1 million, so if Verac would hit through prayer it would make it too easy.

But in the tunnels I believe there is a rock or something to hit magic from distance.

Well, I got an advice, well you could. Poison him. With a smoke spell.

not so fast when you dont know the best methods

dh bod

dh gaxe

guth helm

guth spear

guth bod

t bod

v helm

v brassy

are all over 1m, but 9 other melee items are worth under 1m, lowest would be t hams at about 200k

only half(not exactly!) of melee barrow items are over 1m, but look at ahrims and karils, both under 2m a set, karils is so cheap its more worthit buying new karils items instead of repairing!

the only "hard" barrows brother is dharok as the high damage is inflicted, barrows (armour) was meant to be the best of the best, but as the items were so easily obtained(i could've worked halfway to a d chain from all my runs now) people lost respect and value for it, as you can see people duelling, if whole armour is on: veracs, wildy:ahrims for mage, guthans and dharoks for training

over half the people i see with barrows i would consider noobs to not know how much trouble it should have been to get an item

I agree that this is a good idea, the Barrows is waaay too easy as is (I've never died in 250 trips, which in my POV actually seems wrong when these items are worth so much).

Jagex is finally forcing the noobs out of the Barrows, now Torag and Guthan just need a slight boost...

[if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or

by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.]

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
