Eventually I'll end up getting ancient, simply because they rule. I've had my life saved at least 25 times by an ancient mage using one of the ice spells (sadly, idk which one, but it froze all the enemies around me :twisted: ). I've also been killed 100+ times because of an enemy ancient mage. So, being an ancient must be really fun.

Those 4 levels are sooo darn hard though :(

I used to do that, but it got incredably boring, so I decided to stop (why play if you aren't having fun?) Now I get exp mainly from the Barrows -3k exp a trip to be exact- and I recycle my Chaos Runes from there for Metal Dragons, at which I get 100k exp for every 5k Chaos trip (and the occasional Dragon Drop, like the Left Half I havn't sold yet :lol: ). I have done some Pest Control with Affliction, not much though since it gets fairly repetitive. I may do some Enchant Arena, idk, havn't tried it yet.

 

 

 

Anyways, variety makes Magic training much more fun, and in my case, free :P (though not quite as fast).

It is fun, but dont under estimate the cost, 5 rounds of castle wars in a serious game can cost you anything up to 1m if you buy the runes.

 

 

 

I have had some comedy moments especially at the other teams flag room, if you wear ahrims you have pretty good def bonus so can stand there getting melee'd for quite a while before you die, especially if the people hitting you are lvl 70 and lower, then they come back and try again and again, it just goes on and on, and you do sit there laughing ;)

IMO ancients doesn't really own people if they know how to defend from it properly (maybe because i havent done dt so have had a lot of practice defending from this :wink: ). i had karils on plus a zammy book and a whip, didnt even pray :P and the guy blitzing me splashed three times then said he didn't want to waste his money on noobs :shock:

A lvl 86 had a karil bow, and i owned him. When ever he hit him i blood birsted and he couldn't win.

You can always tell the people who just got ancients, i can 99% guarentee they'll be wearing full ghostly with the staff and sometimes an unholy book, most of them don't realise that mystic has higher bonus \ . Anyway, if someone like the above appears and ancient mages\runs, i love pulling out hides and\or a c bow and they're like no fair. \ . Most fun i've had in a while, most pray when i am actually able to fight back (OMG STOP FIGHTING BACK NOOB) anyway :D .

I get the same thing, when I blitz a group of people, they call me a noob as they all die... And when I get 20 people attacking me, I get called a noob as I die... It's just how the game is, too many immature boys

hmm... ive never really used ancients before... but now i have 4k chaos in my bank and about 10k water i might give then a shot :mrgreen:

simple, if your getting maged, pull out c bow and kharils(insane mage def), and laugh at the mage that loses like 3k per cast and misses every time. anyway they payed for it, cant imagine how much it costs probably 50 mil+. you get called noob for owning them anyway, why not make it fun?
