Just imagine that this became so controversial that you could report people if they were leet/chat speaking on a non leet/chat speaking world. That would be good from the community point of view but just imagine how slow the game would be. And how much work the jagex staff would be put under.

Think what you're trying to accomplish here is the highest possible concentration of people with I.Q.'s above the single digits.

you can't make a perfect world, people would join the world anyway so the world would be overcome eventually ... unless ,say, you had to have Phd in astrophysics and a degree in english and for me being a 13 year old not likely :(

There really needs to be a new kind of world which only lets in 100+ combat players, or high total level players. That would be sweet, n00bs gone foreva!! :twisted:

Well, come on guys. I know we could never get 100 percent smart people on the specific server. Sure we would have people coming to annoy us, but, I'm pretty sure I could think of about 50 things that someone could be doing, other than bothering a server that was unoffically ment for smartness.

 

And if someone just joins the server to annoy us.

 

We can figure out who's the smart people pretty fast, eh?

At the birth of runescape, higher levels almost always meant the person was older, more mature. Since rs2 arrived and the insanely fast xp this is no longer true whatseover. So a level requirement for another server really wouldnt help anything except possibly to prevent begging.

 

 

 

For 5 years I've wished there was a premium server which required users to take an IQ test before being able to sign up for. It will unfortunately never happen though.

But Capone, I don't think that would do any good, with an IQ quiz.

 

It's not that the people can't answer questions like "Where is the KBD?"

 

It's that the people just...

 

1. Don't care about mildly correct spelling.

 

2. Don't care about respecting people to a minor extent.

 

3. Beg and act generally stupid.

 

So, I'm not sure the IQ quiz would work too well..

Of all smart people i thought you would have figured it out, that some people find it better to be lazy then not. Time is money, and typing these days mean time, so a few words un-properly typed out doesn't make them dumb. Or have a low IQ. People not only do it on Runescape, they do it in any multi player game while chatting. People use it in text messaging (txting) in real life. Why? For if you properly typed something on a cell phone text, i bet you would of paid half the amount of cash if you use shorter words, slang, etc.

 

 

 

Can't handle it? Well, why not get the goverment or high authority to banned cell phones and multi player gaming? -.- And fail them in English Class if they don't abide in the system.

Don't mean to rip you to peices i am all for a smarter community but the average iq is 100. 100 means that your mental age is the same as your life age or accual age. So triple digits isn't that much of an accomplishment. Maybe if you had a total lvl requirement on this world you would get experienced players and you wouldn't stop skillers from coming in with a combat lvl requirement.

Yes I wish this would happen, I even suggested it earlier yet it wont.

 

Simply because jagex doesnt have/want the time to pick out all the worthy players that Speak correctly and dont have uber leetness.
