Fleetcom
To RSC. I don't know sometimes. The quests and everything are better in RS2 but the pking, you can't even compare it to the classic engine. i'm sure people want to flame my post for some reason, but thats life i guess? No it isn't life *hopes people look outside the window,* go "flame" people out there, you get a nice supprise :XD: < like no teeth.

dargonhuman
I would if I could; when RS2 first came out, I wanted to stay RSC, but all my friends went to RS2, so I followed them (kinda glad I did, now, all things considered...), but I'd love to go back. It was so fun being able to mine ores and train combat simultaneously, and the game itself was a lot simpler in general, which is how I prefer my games. Graphically, RSC was inferior and somewhat primitive, but it also had it's own type of charm to it; when I think of RS, I imagine it in the delightfully tacky graphics of RSC rather than the more refined, but somewhat boring, RS2 graphics. Chaos_Reborn
The RSC pking system was very crazy, making pking very enjoyable. I loved the fact that 4 strength or 4 attack levels would give a combat level, instead of 3 for 1 level nowadays. I also liked 8 ranged levels for a combat level, meaning that you could have 80 ranged at level 13 :o I also miss the 3 hit rule, and every pker carrying a r2h on them, it looked very cool :D Visit my Runescape comedy website, based on in-game screenshots. dargonhuman
The way mining worked back then, you'd click on the rock, and a little symbol of a pickaxe would appear over your head to indicate you were mining. If someone attacked you during this time, you would fight them while still mining, meaning if you got the ore before your opponent was dead (or you ran after three rounds), then you got mining and combat experience. Same held true for smithing, fishing and woodcutting. I forgot about the RSC r2h's. It was funny seeing people bean each other over the head with cyan broomsticks (which is what all swords looked like back then). Also, 30 inventory spaces was nice; those extra two spaces were just enough to be able to smith an extra bar of just about every ore; 15 Bronze instead of 14, 10 Steel instead of 9, and 6 Mith instead of 5. Ahh, those were the days... Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) Irony: An amnesiac rediscovering they have an eidetic memory.
Bubsa
When I played, I frequently did. Just that, regardless how cool the game was, it wasn't any fun with no-one to play with. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
skeroh
i wish could play rsc. im f2p and never got to play. it probably isn't as good as rs2, but it'd be cool to see what it was like. Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)

Huge Noob
I miss fishing in Catherby and seeing a Jagex mod pop up on the island that you get to by passing though the Black dragons. That's how I first met Mod Daniel.
The_Mercenary14
I miss a lot of things bout rsc but would never go back. I miss the traditional skills, mining and smithing and selling... fishing, cooking, and selling. It had more of a medieval feel to it... the rs2 economy is too modern feeling... But now odd jobs (bowstring making) and merchanting (rare items/dragon items) have taken over the market, and you can't make a dime off smithing until atleast addy. It's just easier to sell the raw materials for more.
Adventurer8
I'd probably go back to RSC days as well. I admit that I may have become a bit more nostalgic as days gone by. The things I would change: 1: I would go back to training on low level monsters to get more experience than those training on higher levels.(anything I could 1-hit would do) 2: I would mass-mine iron/gold before all rocks were changed to hardrocks. 3: I would have waited for the future to go on a deforesting trip. 4: I would have persisted on showing up for the holidays. (A large mistake I made, because I was unable to attend those once-in-a-runescape-lifetime events, while I got to listen to my friends boast about the fun they had) 5: I would always log out in the void... or was it blackhole. (my memory's going now. :uhh: :ohnoes: ) 6: I would have kept my easter egg instead of trading it for an adam kite. 7: I would have enjoyed my favorite spot once more. (which was taken out when RS2 was introduced) 8: I would have maintained better contact with my friends. Actually, seems most of what I miss was in RSC... now that I think about it. :-k Oh well... Can't change the past.(nor should anyone try to) Best to look forwards and develope a better future. ~10 out of 10 cows agree. The greatest Runescape addition was the rubber chicken. ~Today, we watch Runescape's grass grow. Tomorrow, we watch it's pots boil!
dargonhuman
Oh well... Can't change the past.(nor should anyone try to) Really? Oh...uhm... [red]*Dargonhuman tries to hide his time machine under a ratty tarp.[/red] But seriously, yeah, I wish I had cherished more things about RSC. Eh, when I finish my non-existent time machine, I'll go back and be more appreciative of RSC. Part of the Star Traks network. (^^Clicky!) Irony: An amnesiac rediscovering they have an eidetic memory. Besty
I'd be in heaven if RSC came back. =D> Even though I quit RS over a year ago, atleast now I'd occasionally play RSC :) Just to remind me of the good ol' days.
