Ya I suppose. Rune mining, 300k per load :shock:

For sure.. infact it seems to me that everything except for the mining ore market is going down. Lobs are now below 200 each. Yews seem to be going for 220 each (on average, I get my yews for this price).

 

 

 

Coal seems to be going for nothing less then 200 each in bulk amounts. And iron ore is increasing from 80 each to over 120 each for bulk buys. Mining is alot faster then cutting yews and fishing also :)

best way to make money in f2p is merchanting, but if your talking skill wise i would say mining is a pretty good way to make money, maybe not the best though.

I have not being mining for a while now so where is the best place in f2p for iron ore mining ?

Varrock south east mine is the best, kind of a lot of competition though. Right near a bank, there's four rocks in a cluster.

Dwarven Mines aren't bad either for iron.

coal is where the money is made, but i don't sell i smith all my stuff, it's a pain in the well anyway. Coals gotta be the best money use mining guild if you can. I think after my training i'm gunna go back to mining, i only got 100k :boohoo:

Nope. Iron is much better than coal. With lvl 60 mining, you can mine 28 iron (1 load) in 3 minutes (counting banking). With lvl 60 mining you can mine 28 coal (1 load) in 8-9 minutes (counting banking, and for this purpose I'll say 9 minutes). That means you can mine iron 3 times as fast as coal. So in 9 minutes you can mine 28 coal, which is worth about 5.6K. In 9 minutes you can also mine 84 iron, which is worth 8.4K. Also, the xp is better if you mine iron.

I guess what i was trying to say was is that there is always a high demand for coal and it will not go away until smithing becomes useless. Coal is a guarenteed sell but iron might take a bit longer to find a buyer because it is so easy to mine.

A lot of people think coal is going to make more money. Yes, coal is easier to sell, but using the forums you should find a buyer easily (for both iron and coal)

As for iron vs. coal I guess iron could be more profitable, but i get more satisfaction out of mining coal i'll just keep doing my way :wall: until i get enough

Merchanting is the best money making tactik, but if you use skills mining is best.

I runecraft to make money. However, you need a high enough level.

I make my money with my M&M's. Mining and Merchanting are the way to go. I am currently merchanting now until I get my money made back, then I can relax and do some mining. :D

If you're 75 mining you can mine coal pretty fast, not as fast as iron but around.

Mining the best f2p money making skill by far but at higher levels other skills become more open for money making. I used to only get money by mining but as i increased my skills new money making opportunities opened. Im considering switching back to mining/smithing as prices for yews and lobster are going down

Yeah. Mining gets you the most money because I just died yesterday and I can't think of a way to get lots of money besides mining silver (I have a bronze pick, so why fight for silver using a bronze pick?). But mostly, I JUST WANT MY ADDY PICK BACK!!!

but pking is better i got 25 mith ore 2day from it.
