tomdavies90
ok so everybody might already know this but i just looked through a few of the master guides and none of them said about this apparently according to the RS knowledge base, Important: TzTok-Jad will attack with all styles. It is advised you have sound effects on so you can hear his attacks before he uses them. would this be useful? i mean after the graphics update having sounds on low detail shouldn't cause any lag or connection problems? will this be a big help or not? discuss here about wether or not this is useful... genju24
the sound aint ganna help you all you do is watch his front feet if he lifts up and slams back down quickly its a range if he holds up for a few secs its a magic simple as that sound kinna pointless :-w Not exactly accurate, but almost. Sound might actually save your life in Jad's first shot, if he is out of sight. If you start with range prayer, if he shoots with mage you can hear it and change in time. If he shoots range, you only hear when it's about to hit (no point in changing then as it won't do any good) but as I said if you start range praying you're fine. This is a lot of ifs, but it still is a help, as small as it may be. Also, this isn't new info and I don't think it warrants a thread of its own. There's several fight caves threads where you could find this, even if not in the first post. Current goals: Going for 80 80 80.Recent goals achieved: 70 70 70 done. Major Achievement: Fire Cape at 79 combat.

Kashi
The only time sound would help is when you're trying to locate him, and he attacks you before you can see him. I'd say turn on ranged protect, and then listen for the mage sound effect. This will have a better chance of success, since you can hear the mage sound effect before the actual attack hits you, buy the range sound effect is only like, 0.5 seconds before the actual damage is done. My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race. However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.

m4tty
range = silent before it hits, mage = the retribution pray's sound quietly while its doing the standing on its legs thing.
Laikrob
Condor85 is a she, and here is the link to the "practice game": http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=480164 You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?
