that is a terrible idea because it would be another combat skill and would complicate the levweling process a whole lot more.

NUH UH. Runescape is a time of its own. Gielnor is not specifically in any time period relatable to Earth. God... And guns sound like another addition to range, in which you must use accuracy to do damage. However people would expect guns to hit very well.. Then comes kevlar... It brings up too many ideas...

Fyi, there WERE gun-type weapons in the medieval ages!! Guns were introduced, though not used widely, in the imperial medieval ages, which means around the 1500's.

 

 

 

Guns should be alot stronger than arrows, BUT MUCH LESS ACCURATE!!

 

 

 

Guns, when first introduced, couldn't hit their targets at all, but when it DID, it did quite alot of damage.

 

 

 

I apologize for the history lesson, but it is VERY possible. Just like the crossbow additions, gunship could add alot of interest in the ranging department. I actually think Jagex might consider this one...

 

 

 

E.g. at level 70 ranging, arrows (iron) deal 12 damage, whereas guns can do maybe 20. However, it won't hit as often (maybe half the time that arrows would usually hit).

well it might come if we add it in ranged dont eork out at other skill -.-

This is like one of the worst suggestions ever. Are you really serious about this? Did you REALLY think this would be a good suggestion? There are so many cons that I'm not even going to name them.

I gotta say, that a new skill like that would totally ruin the game's look. even the bazooka in me2 is a bit much for me :anxious:

I think you went a little 2 far with this one... I can see the new game title! Rune Nukem. Another skill, jagex would never approve of firearms in the period of time runescape is set in. Firearms add another element of violence in runescape and cmon! This game is supposed to be for children! The love the addition of guns in runescape but jagex would never allow it. Also what next? I need rune bullets to load up my shotgun! Buying rune bullets! Just another line of spam :| nobody likes spam.

You know, guns are illegal in some places...Jagex could be sued if they did this. I don't think you want that, as that means they won't have enough money to run Runescape.

Besides which, guns are indeed on the list on the rs official forum, which lists all the things not to suggest because they will not be considered (besides which how is this different to ranging?)
