If this is the wrong forum to discuss this theory, I will copy and paste to where it is supposed to be :) Why squirrels over all other animal species (with the exception of monkeys)? I invite you to consider the following... FACT: Squirrels are capable of wielding potentially lethal weapons (see Figure 1) Figure 1 FACT: Squirrels are clearly capable of changing species with minimal effort. FACT: Squirrels cannot be killed by any player or NPC. They must therefore possess invincibility and/or immortality. FACT: Squirrels can only be found near the body altar, an inexhaustible source of magic used in curses. They never venture far from the altar, and must therefore be intricately tied to its magical energies. FACT: NPC's around the squirrels have very strange temperaments. A monk will heal you back to health mere seconds after you viciously assault him or one of his fellow monks, knowing full well that you are likely to try to kill him next. A barbarian will challenge you to a deathmatch if you so much as attempt to make friendly conversation, knowing that 99.999% of the time, he/she will lose. Dwarves...do I really have to explain how insane these people are? Anyway, the point is, squirrels clearly have an influence on these characters' mental facilities that causes them to behave so erratically. FACT: Some species of squirrel can hold up to 32 nuts at once in their cheeks alone. Your pathetic backpack can only hold up to 28 items. (Credit goes to fgfuyfyuiuy0 on that one) FACT: Squirrels like nuts. They must therefore posess great intelligence, since they prefer the company of the mentally insane (who will never be believed if the squirrels accidentally reveal a few secrets) over the company of credible people. This level of intelligence has the potential to build a civilization that rivals that of ape atoll. Need more proof? Despite the effort and observation I have put into trying to reveal the truth, how many of you actually believe me? I'm currently making a quest in which this happens. You've actually made good points. Also, the squirrels are near the wilderness, that might mean something.
