Rune def, it has att,def, and str bonuses all in one making your weapon more accurate when training on a monster

I still use obby shield, im flat 99s melee and i find that rune defender really doesnt make that much difference except that i get hit more.

with rune kite , abt 46k xp/h...

 

so with obby which is +5 str 50kxp/h at most ? =p

Rune Defender = When you know you can easily defeat the monster or you won't lose anything from dieing / dont need food (Like in pest control or cwars)

 

 

 

Obby shield = When the monster is quite tough, you need food to defeat it so a shield with decent defence is helpful to prevent wasting food.

defender as it is like a super zammy book for warriors and it's only half the defense of an obby shield (about)

Rune defender because while it gives great attack bonuses, it also gives decent defense.

heres what i say:

 

 

 

take a half dragon square and break in half, now you have a quarter of a dragon square. now, superglue your defender in front of your shield.

 

next, glue your crystal shield next to the dragon quare. now you have about a quarter of a shields room left. break your defender into fourths and glue one there. there you go. all the defence in one. w00t i win.

Definately rune defender. adds not only strength and defense bonuses, but also attack bonuses.

It depends. If you want to hit higher I'd be with Obby... Put a 'Both' option. I choose both. #-o

Rune defender has same strength bonus as obby shield, PLUS +20 attack, with just a little less defense. Once I got my defender I sold my obby shield asap. If you want high ranged defense, get a crystal shield not an obby...

Rune Defender! It is essentially free vs 400-550k. It turns dds into an entirely different beast boosting its stab by at least 33% ( I have +82 stab with rune def, dark gloves, fury ammy), and is safe to take out into the wild. I always have 3 in my bank, so if I lose one in the wildy no real loss.

 

 

 

I have high defense, so I always prefer faster slaying.
