Just wondering what everyone's view on a cannon is?

I mean when you take it too train with, what multi combat areas do u find best for gettin maximum impact and some good drops!!

Personally i take it too ice warriors in the mountains but i'm unsure of other good places!!

Also is it allowed in the steel dragon dungeon?

thanks in advance

I had a cannon once, but I eventually sold it back. The cannons balls took too long to make and they were too expensive to buy. But if you had the money it's very good for slayer.

No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.

cannon pwn. All thought i rarely use it, its awesome for slayer tho. If you have the money to buy one, i would consider you buying one. Also, i make my cannon balls, also making the steel bars, which takes forever to make.

It has some pros and some cons in my eyes, but worth it at the end :D

Thanks for all the info

I'm in dagannoths now but it seems hopeless as it only hits 1 at a time any one know any where better??

Make sure you're using it on the ones in the lighthouse basement. Its multi combat there so you should hit more then one at a time.

Cannons own slayer.

Cannons own range xp.

Cannons own... your bank account.

I mine iron, trade 2/3rds for coal, trade the iron and coal for steel (plus I pay cash), and smith my own c balls. Great mining xp, decent smithing xp, and a LOT lighter on the wallet. ::'

EDIT: Freshwacka made a good point via pm that I failed to mention. Misc. workers are a fantastic source of coal as well. Go FRESH! \'

I just recently used 10k cannon balls on some slayer tasks (Black Demons, Kalphites and Mogres) and I really wasnt impressed... it is pretty bad range exp seeing as i can hit 21-23 with cbow which is over double the exp that a cannon gives and cbow only costs 72 gp per shot. If you are going for purely speed then use cannon but otherwise just dont.
