August 17, 200619 yr I was trying to get a left half skull on my pure and finally gave up :wall: They are awesome exp, if you have defence. Their are a few safe spots for rangers, like me, but with so many of them the safe spots only block up to 2 at once. Too bad they hit hard.

August 17, 200619 yr yup, took a crew of friends down there tonight - the location is nice for mid to mid-high lvls... beyond that, slaying and such is a better use of time... The blood and death drops were -very- nice btw... -WHAT- is the use of the left half skulls? (I have 5 and left about 5 behind...) August 17, 200619 yr Author you collect 4 pieces and they make a skull seceptre (sp is bad) it gives 4 (or 5) charges to tele to barb village
August 17, 200619 yr wow cant believe how many members don't know this. Having only just turned member i was jumping on the stronghold when i was f2p and the drops were gd enough then add in bloods, herbs and clues and you have a winner :) just wish they didnt hit so darn hard also just got a task of 58 for them for slayer, ahhhhhh :D

However, for an lvl 80 like me they are to hard to be profitable with as only good drop laws. Amezingly, when I was training on them (the lvl 75's), I was at lvl 80 the highest lvl around! Even lvl 60's tend to train on them, but I dont see why. As said above, they hit hard, and have not that good drops. Retired.

August 17, 200619 yr just bought full guthans so decided to train at ankous for abit, trained at the 75s, didnt get hit much (77 def, was in rune when fighting), put guthans on at 45hp and less, got loads of deaths and bloods and quite good xp \ a fair amount of addy arrows and pure ess too. got a clue aswell, guess ill go get my rune pickaxe and 5 shark.

August 17, 200619 yr Killed for about 20 mins. Got 49 bloods, 60 deaths, 2 skull halves, weapon posion, ranarr weed, and a lvl 3 clue. :D EDIT...and got pked with the clue. :? Quit RS, combat 104, total 1651
August 18, 200619 yr i tried them today, after about 140 kills i got 350 deaths 200 some bloods 70 addy arrows 130 pure ess 45 mith ore 6 Weapon Poison 6 Left Skull Halves 2 level 3 Clue Scrolls. yea they own.

August 18, 200619 yr Author EDIT...and got pked with the clue. grrr i hate that!! can i just say wow to all the replys! i wasnt expecting to still be looking at this thread i figured it be buried! they seem to be stingy with clue drops, but the deaths and blood make up for that i guess!
August 18, 200619 yr i trained at the lvl 82 ankous ranged from 89 to 91 and i got like 1.3k laws , 1k moth ore , 3k ess and 1k+ addy arrows (F2P BTW) the spot is great :thumbsup: :XD: oh and 97 left skull halves (yea yea i collect them :oops: ) retired hehe but i still browse tip.it XD
