darthvox
A new way to train prayer and its F2P. First, get any sort of bones, and then use them on a range or fire, you will then get Ash Remains. Then go near a river and use Ash Remains on it, and an animation of you scattering the ash will appear. The exp given is 2x the exp you would normally get when burying the bones so scattering Ash Remains of big bones would give you 30exp and normal bones 9 exp. vietlapine
Not a bad idea. 2x isn't that much compared to 4x for the Ectofuntus thing in members...but then again..any boost would help prayer in general. If you could use the demon ash on the river to get some prayer experience as well, it would be nice..although we have to make a distinction between demon ash and wood ash or it would be too easy. the_trinity_11
interesting idea :P it could work for f2p. But one question, when burning the bones or whatever do you get firemaking exp...? PLAY this awesome game...Clicky

seanite
sorry but oh boohoo you get like 560 xp for 1 bone it must be so painfull that you get so much xp at once and that it takes you a while Sorry just had to do that members lvl up way faster than f2p ever will and our max bone is the big bone so 2x wouldn't hurt you that much it just make bones more valuable to sell anyways rule the seas is a cool mmorpg register through here: http://www.ruletheseas.com/index.php?r=50338

kubert7
If it was 2x experience, the ectofuntus in members would become pretty much abandoned. the 2x is VERY quick compared to the ectofuntus and people would probably prefer doing that, or offer their bones in poh. krogiecom
f2p shouldnt get any prayer upgrades. This would make it so easy to level prayer members would dump the ectofuntus and just do this instead. The tip.it prayer guide doesnt detail how long it takes to do the bones, it just tells you what you have to do. Im f2p at the moment, and i still dont think its neccesary. How many things are there in f2p which need prayer to defeat anyway? Lessers are easy once youre good enough (lvl 50 or so). The only thing which is a threat to me now are random events There are heaps of things in p2p which are really dangerous unless you have high prayer
Smackapotato
Krogiecom is completely right, sure having easyer f2p exp would be fun but it's just not something important. If you want a high prayer lvl then bury some bones instead of complaining, I have 52 prayer not because i wished that I could get more exp per bone, but because I worked hard to get more bones. And beleive me working harder to get something does make it more rewarding EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it. darthvox
I'm an F2P, and I really wish there would be some alterative to training prayer. But which one would you choose, burying 2 bones, or go through making a fire/going to a range, then burning it, then throwing it to a river. And maybe instead of rivers only you could through them into lava too.
drokles
Its a nice thought, but we all know that Jagex never would agree... bsides theres a reason y members have to pay for it and i respect Jagex for keeping it that way. I'll get there!... eventually

Nenga
There are heaps of things in p2p which are really dangerous unless you have high prayerYes in p2p when you do monkey madeness the demon at the end hits 30's with melee and mage, and damis for desert treasure is easy but he drains your prayer like a madman, and there are like 6 things atking you at once you need high prayer on members. On f2p the dangorus thing is the fersom greater demon. On p2p it's the chaos elemental so i'v heard i haven't seen it myself. I say chaos elemental because jad isn't gonna atk you unless you do the caves. f2p don't need prayer updates we members do plus we have monsters that use portection spells themselfs. we need high prayer why would you want high prayer if the highest you can use is lvl 43 protect from melee. Ponies!
darthvox
what do u think about the new prayers then? and anyway would u really want to go through the process of making ash and throwing it at the river or lava, or bury 2 bones, which will give the same exp in my suggestion?
krogiecom
The new prayers are mostly below lvl 43, so you dont need prayer bonuses. Besides, if you yourself say its not worth the time getting the ashes and throwing it in the river instead of burying 2 bones, whats the point? (Oh and the main issue is people who buy big bones in large quantities. This would mean they only need half the big bones and thus half the money.) opu
2x is a bit too much for f2p dont you think? "too much for f2p"... god damit you, dont u think that hitting a 50+ isnt much for a p2p? Shadow_Champion
Uh, jemathonical, this is a suggestion, it really isn't in the game. My thoughts bout this idea are that f2p should have indeed at least 1 more kind of bone. Ur suggestion would probably stop many of those filthy bots around RS2. but 2x the xp is a bit too much. Make it 1.2x Xp. Maybe Jagex could put Jogres into f2p wildy lv 46? the xp of their bones is the same as big bones but they sometimes drop a set of jogre bones, big bones and bones. BTW, using a max hit calculator and an equipment designed to max out str bonus, using the best prayer, best pots, lv 99 str, the max hit didn't reach 50. Not even with Dragon B Axe Special. Besides, ieven if we did, we are paying money per month. that's why we have better things. And dont say im saying this just 'cuze I have the Great Luck of being a member, I played in f2p for a full year and know what it is like to train high lv skills. xana
Shadow_Champion looking at your skills if you played f2p for a full year thats kind of sad in less you just sat and talked to friends. on topic you say f2p only need 45 payer max so members only need 52 payer max? so why dose any one bother to get it hier? so it last longer and payer can help in f2p and i hardly think that 2 times the xp is going to kill the bone markit plus it seems like it might be kind of a pain to do it any ways i think this is a grate idea and yes i am f2p but i well be geting members in a month or 3 i hope By 'fittest' do you mean 'most selfish brat with the fastest internet connection?' jwrm22
nice idee... but maybe it will work if you do it per log kind example: normal logs: 1,1x up to normal bones oak logs: 1,2x up to bat bones willow: 1,4x up to big bones maple: 1,7x '' wyvern bones yew: 2,1x '' dragon bones magic: 2,6x '' ourg bones you could add: teak: 1,5x mahogany: 1,8x but these logs are for special construction use... ^^ click my sig for my lesser ranging guide ^^jwrm22: 4816th > 99 cooking 100% f2p !1172 total! + 140mil in items.i dont play anymore... i think rs is ruined
