Bubsa
It's on that Arabian based British channel...not Santena but the other one. Ach, can't remember the name. Anyway, I'm certain they'll be a pub somewhere relaying the game. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
Scars
Did any one see the mid week matches?Plenty to come today as well. Robbie Keane has kind of become central to the way Tottenham play now. Most of the creativity comes from him & Lennon. When they don't play all that well it has quite some effect on team.Berbatov really looks like he'll get around 15goals or so. I guess an established club will get related this season.Yeah, its pretty early in the season but I think so. Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig! I think that's the one that the pubs are willing to be fined for using because the profits they retain outweigh them. And Phil, do you ever venture to the lower leagues of FM06? Oy_the_Great
I've been wondering if any of you actually play football on a rather high level? Good old Korla, some people will still know him as a former mod, plays at Helsingborg, which equals the best football in Sweden. I used to play in some 3rd rank local club, nothing special. But a lot of my friends still play, and 2 of them were asked to play for Anderlecht, another now plays in Zulte-Waregem, one of the premier league teams in Belgium. And sounds like you are pretty good too. Me I just play on a field with my mates and normally end up pissing this one lad off who gets annoyed if you tackle him, fun fun fun. Yeah I knew about Korla, shame I don't manage to speak to him much these days. I play for an amateur team here, which is like the 3rd level of football, below Junior and Professional. SLOWSTORM
I used to get out and play a bit with my mates in college, but the fellows from Brazil and Indonesia would almost always run circles around the rest of us. I don't get to play much any more, though  When you are learning, you are growing. Tbfgraphx14
I'm not to clear on what your talking about. But are Liverpool, Manchester, or New Castle any of the teams playing? Hehe, I only like New Castle because of Michael Owen. My football idol. Ok, just a question, hope it's not considered spam. :-k ^The above was posted by Viktorkrum77. Dang it! Newcastle and Liverpool aren't playing tonight. Think it's time for you to get a new idol? Owen is out with injury till like April or sometime like that. :P

Bubsa
Rugby is by far my "playing" sport, over football. I play for a club in a league the equivalent of League 1/Division 2 English football, and north of England. :) That's awesome about Korla though! I wanna sign him on Football Manager now! This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
tomdavies90
I really hope this thread doesn't get swamped by flaming >.< Well done Reading today, great comeback from the dead in their first ever Premiership game. As a Liverpool fan, 1-1 at Sheff Utd, not a happy hunting ground, but not the best result. However, given the performance and with one eye on Champions league matters, can't complain too much. Arsenal were crap too 1-1 to Villa but they won last night against digimon zigzag!!! woo 5-1 on aggregate Sig by me....

1_man_army
Watch Keane come out of retirement now. "Attention, attention! I need attention!" He's about to be appointed the Sunderland manager according to Sky Sports News, so it would be unlikely :P Personally Im looking forward to Chelsea vs. Barcelona 3. Although I can't see Chelsea winning either game this time to be honest as Barcelona look even better than they were last season. You could argue that Chelsea have Ballack & Shevchenko now but I think there are too many big ego's in their squad who wont be happy unless they play every game which rarely happens at Chelsea because of Mourinho's squad rotation policy. Phil
What do you guys think of Obafemi Martins at Newcastle? I think he's gonna be a hit in the Premiership and that Newcastle got him cheap. Next week he's going straight into my fantasy team and hoping he does well. He's only 22 too so expect big things from him the future.
