I fail to see how it's irrelevant. I think, maybe, it's the most relevant thing.

 

I think people are misunderstanding me. Obviously, I see life as relevant. However, trying to explain why life 'is', as it were, is irrelevant. You don't need to know the answer, it's extremely unlikely you'll find it and, IMO, searching for it isn't living at all. Unless of course, as Scruffy mentioned, you really like the challenge of finding out the answer, then by all means go ahead and live that life.

do you guys ever wonder if life is real?

 

 

 

I always think of it as a dream. Like nothing is real...Ovcourse it probaly is but my theory is that everything is a dream.I don't belive in God or anything like that.

 

 

 

Just wonder if you guys have your own little theorys about life and our existance(sp?) :-s

 

 

 

you have no evidence, therefore it's not a theory

when you are dreaming and know that it is a dream, you can make yourself wake up. in fact it's hard to keep on dreaming then. if you manage to stay in your dream, you can do whatever you want though.

 

 

 

What I always wonder is if my reality is created for me by a superior technology, and they are training me for some higher purpose when they wake me up. :shock:

 

 

 

i had the same idea. i just thought of somekind of enlightend powers insead of the superior technology.

 

 

 

When I was younger I thought I was born a superior. Everyone around me was going to be mine one day. I was put here to control everyones destiny. I also thought that everyone knew this but didn't say anything about it in hope that they would be saved from my awesome power. Whenever something happend that was threatening I thought it was a test or someone trying to steal what is rightfully mine.

 

 

 

After reading this everyone knows who I am. Yes I am he who you were givin.

 

 

 

I had similar believes for some time to.

 

 

 

 

 

funny enough, that we have soo very similar ideas. question is: what makes us believe such things?

 

 

 

i'd say "they" will never wake you (Scruffy) up, at least they didn't wake me. i'd also say you (Xplsv) aren't our saviour, since we would just need one and you and me already makes two of 'em.

 

 

 

I believe there is no one, no "they" and no god, nothing that watches us, nothing that judges us, nothing that protects us. nothing but yourself. you watch yourself, judge yourself and (hopefully) protect yourself.

 

 

 

I do believe, that something restricts our potential though. may it be fear, may it be false believes. sometimes i have this feeling, like my mind is squeezed into a tin box. maybe it's this body, that is restricting. a body is soo vulnerable, weak and limited.

 

 

 

idk. maybe all this mind[bleep] just prevents me from facing my live and from enjoying what it has to offer. then again all these fancy ideas, about what i could do are often suffocated by fears.

Even if we are all linked up to something that's simulating all this life, we'd never possibly be able to find out whether or not it's real, and if it isn't, it's a pretty nice simulated life, so i'm not going to complain. Much.

Evolution is my answer to everything. I don't believe in anything supernatural.

 

 

 

I have always wondered what the real color of everything is. Color is produced by light, and then our eyes. So is everything a mix of megenta, cyan, and yellow? It really makes you think.

Color is just light, nothing amazing. The reason we take it so seriously is because our eyes are one of our most valued senses. In reality there justl ike your ears, your nose, or your nerves on your skin. All matter is just a collection of atoms, we just see it all in colors (or black and white) and we understand the worl the way it seems to us: bright and colourful.

 

 

 

Our other senses are no different, sound is just matter vibrating, but we understand it completely differently because thats how out brain accepts the signals from our ears.

 

 

 

Thats just the way the world works.
