do you guys ever wonder if life is real?

 

 

 

I always think of it as a dream. Like nothing is real...Ovcourse it probaly is but my theory is that everything is a dream.I don't belive in God or anything like that.

 

 

 

Just wonder if you guys have your own little theorys about life and our existance(sp?) :-s

we're here because this planet has lived long enough, so humans got put on it to destroy the planets surface..

Basicly I belive in a chaotic universe, where things work by chance and randomness, and there is no true pattern becasue what we see as a patern is just the same small thing in a very large stretch of time. I also think that each of our lives lives a diffrent cours, but some peoples randomly join up.

Here's what I have to say to you: Forget about it. Just don't bother. No-one will ever be able to work it out, and it doesn't matter. You should go out and enjoy what a crazy life you've been given. Don't waste your time on something so trivial and irrelevant.

The Truman show is an awesome movie lol. I remember when my brother told me he had watched it. He kept asking me if I was his really his brother, and was I just an actor? Haha I had some good fun with him. It makes you think though. I hate movies like that :wall:

life is just as real as the beer i drink and the chicks i have fun with :P

On topic: What I always wonder is if my reality is created for me by a superior technology, and they are training me for some higher purpose when they wake me up. :shock:

i used to flip the middle finger out into the air randomly because i thought i was in a truman show like thing. just did it the other night, for some reason i got the feeling again. it doesnt really bother me all that much though.

Sometimes i get worried i'm a new trueman show, it scares me that people could be watching me 24/7, no matter what i'm doing :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

Anyways, no one really knows if real life is real, until your dead, but then you cant tell anyone :lol:

I would second what you said, except for the last sentence. It's hardly trivial.

 

 

 

However, I must tell you, no one's found an answer to this question. The only answers have been compromises with their realities.

I love movies like the Truman Show and The Matrix. The ones that make you think about reality. Personally i think life is but a dream (go nursery rhymes! woot!) that we wake up from when we "die", and start the actual life, which is millions of times more horrible than this life, OR that it's like the Truman show. In case the latter is true, I dance around comically a lot to impress my viewers.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I get phases where nothing feels real and its as if im in a dream.

When I was younger I thought I was born a superior. Everyone around me was going to be mine one day. I was put here to control everyones destiny. I also thought that everyone knew this but didn't say anything about it in hope that they would be saved from my awesome power. Whenever something happend that was threatening I thought it was a test or someone trying to steal what is rightfully mine.

I have always wondered what the real color of everything is. Color is produced by light, and then our eyes. So is everything a mix of megenta, cyan, and yellow? It really makes you think.

It must be like a rpg type life and it's just a dream here i mean how else would they come up with ideas like final fantasy and runescape.

 

 

 

When i was little i had these dreams about the house i live in now kinda freaky now cuz i didn't even know we wer gonna move here.

heres a defenition of life I have to make for school, I way over did it in terms of school, but its as accurate as I could get.

Collection of natural procceses designed to accomplish complicated tasks such as movement at will. The will is proccesed buy a much larger structure of small structures that do individual tasks, inorder to piece together logic. The small structures, cells are naturally occurred cycles that continue untill execution.

 

Theese cycles are their tasks, the tasks piece together the logic, the logic makes progress- Thats life.

Every object has a chemical compisition giving it a color. Everyone has a different perception varying from the smallest degrees to flat out colorblindness of the color of an object.

 

 

 

I somewhat agree with Bubsa's logic. I mean it's fun to talk and wonder about these kinds of things - just don't fret over em, since nobody knows the answer, and most likely nobody will ever know. His point is that since we know we won't find an answer, it's pointless to waste so much time in your short life worrying about it.
