I just hit a 20 with bronze arrows, im 87 range, this is crazy? Any1 tell me the new maxes for mage and range?

No idea, I can hit 9's with Iron knives now lol, 67 Ranged... Used to hit 8's :wink:

How exactly are you using bronze arrows and a crystal bow? :-k

my friend cookkie61 who i f2p pk with regularly is a 99 range f2per he can hit 18's now with addy arrows and maple short as apposed to 16's before the update... i believe you can now hit 15% more then you could before.

i hit 14s with steel arrows now instead of 12s :) its nice for training cuz i can kill a full load of blues with the prayer on, speeding up my killing quite a bit. I recharge pray at my house and im ready for another trip.

Ya, the only time I used it was when I had 57 range and maxed 7 with bronze arrows. I popped on the 5% prayer and hit 8s...

Yeah, I have been seeing a boosted hit power and percentage with maple shortbow and iron arrows while using range prayer... Even discovered that I don't really need more than a 5% to 10% boost max! 15% must be for wildi people. :lol:

And since the range and magic prayers match both attack and strength prayers, wouldn't the max hit for range be increased? :-s Of course, all magic spells (except Magic Dart) have a set max hit so you're right if you were refering somewhat to magic. But since you said shots, I have a feeling you were referring to range.

The answer is simple. The prayers raise you level by 15%, which means for mage, this only the accuracy is affected, because of the max hit cap, like it says above. For range however, as you increase your level, you increase your accuracy and max hit, so the prayer does both.
