cithien Posted August 29, 2006 Share Posted August 29, 2006 Boy do I ever NOT miss the days of taking a bus to school...except when I have to put gas in my car, which happens all too frequently these days (the half hour commute to campus is just more than my poor Neon and $6.75 an hour job can keep up with). Seriously though, through grade school my parents would have murdered me if I'd ever missed school for something as trivial as not catching the bus. There's always another way there, and they expected me to be in class. It's so simple to be wise. Im 13 nearly 14 in third year of high school in scotland in the highlands. 2. My school is a half an hour bus ride away, my dads at work and my mum cant drive. 3. My mum made me get a public bus to school (I was the only one from my bus stop everyone else get to stay at home) 4. That's not exactly true. I go to a normal public high school. I'm a freshman. I'm also taking math classes that the normal student takes in 11th grade. It all depends on what you decide to do in school. If you want to do good and actually start doing good, you will learn. That's not really a terrible bike ride, but then you arrive all hot and sweaty, and who wants that? It's not fun :P That's odd. Courses here aren't obliged, so I skip most of them. I just never feel like getting out of bed at 8 o' clock to attend classes, even though they're interesting. Our grades are determined by exams only, so if you pass them, everything is OK. That was about 45km away and took 45mins if we were lucky..
