There are some classes that should be banned from taking place that early. Math and gym are those two classes. I had math, then gym in 10th grade and I failed math horribley (had never ever failed anything before that...I got B's on average) because I just wasn't awake enough to know wtf my teacher was talking about...And gym right after that wasn't as bad, but still...Are you honestly throwing a ball at my head at 9 in the morning? No wonder people do school shootings. :P A lot of people in my grade attend morning class for mathematics, and that starts at 0800. The vast majority of them are doing well and are functioning members of society. Many people have also had commitments early in the morning for the school. I myself have, over the years, had morning classes, football training and orchestra, the latter two starting at 0730. Nowadays, I don't participate in them, but every wednesday I am at school until 2030 for fencing. It takes me an hour and a half to travel to and from school, barring any bus or train delays. All this has been done with my own free will. It shows that there's no reason for you people to not be able to cope with it. That's easy. :-s Romeo and Juliet is about 300 pages, no big deal. The shorter the story, the harder it would be. Trying to get a 4 page essay from Sonnet 18 is harder.

I have to walk roughly a half mile to school in the morning. No bus for bacab, too close to school. My lungs burn, my feet hurt, I'm sore and bitter and I have to cross a street where lunatics and maniacs drive, but at least at the end of it all I'm wide awake with a rapid heart beat and I'm ready to tackle the day with the typical sullen/angry teenage disposition. And I can't get my drivers license yet because my uncle says I'm *way* too scary on the road. I swear that the fire hydrant wasn't there five seconds ago! And that deer was trying to die! Jump out in front of me, will you.... I'm so glad this is my last year of HS. I can't believe people actually think I'm a freshman... I swear that if someone calls me a freshman one more time *inaudible muttering and ranting and growling* We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.
