Nickelliston Posted August 31, 2006 Share Posted August 31, 2006 I was just doing desert treasure and I'd just got my final diamond so I teleport using the ectophial and as I walk into the bank a random event appears so I think 'oh no problem, just another old man' but then it starts attacking me with a ddp++, saying "hand over the diamond of smoke". I had just come from the final fight so i was well stocked up and I killed him easily. He was called 'Stranger' and was lvl 95 with the examine "very mysterious looking... ". It said nothing about this on the quest guide and I was wondering if anyone else had this happen to them? My friend you would not tell with such high zest / to children ardent for some desperate glory / the old lie: Dulce et decorum est / pro patria mori.These 'noobs' are not people as such, they are soulless creations of corporate greed. Some people don't even get him during the quest. I've heard a lot of people wondering what this stranger was. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug. Interesting really. :D Does anyone happen to know death_siren? She stole a green mask from me, and I think I found my way into her ignore list. Sorry for hijacking, but that we're on the subject: People keep on talkign about the traps in the Pyramid, but I ran through the entire thing (energy pots) and never encountered a trap of some kind. All I saw were Scarabs and mummies. Do they mean this with traps or was I just very lucky? Retired 2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.
