well for all the negative things everybody put there is an easy way to fix them all...if they have a share experience option then make it to where the experience is shared based on your current combat lvl....much like how much you hit as it currently is also as far as someone leaves the party then trys to turn and attack you...have an option that says you cannot attack this player for 5 minutes because you just left their party also the party leader having too much power? just make it to where all the options stay the same until the party is broken up that way they cant change any options, also for people sending invites to those that dont want it? make it just like the private chat - be able to choose wether to accept invites or not. and Jagex cannot get in trouble for using this idea...you cannot "trademark" or "patent" an idea as long as it is unique enough to jagex and has its own graphics then they would be fine, and having someone just stand around and soak up experience or power leveling wouldnt be possible since runescape auto logs you off. My opinion runescape needs something like this it would make it feel more like an actual adventure not to mention the team capes we have now are the useless idea...all they do is show you who has the same cape...and anyone can get one...this system is INVITE ONLY thenaks hope this makes a few more people open to the idea i guess im just bored with all the updates thus far...want something new and USEFULL

cept, youd have the problem of ppl fighting for who will be the leader. if you make it so you request a party and everyone is equal it will work out much nicer. and you should be able to share exp, plus make it so when in the party, no1 can attack each other if not its like making a team in the wild and ppl bsing for fun. the idea of everyone being able to see the drops is a great idea tho

What you people dont understand is that a PARTY system was introducted to the game then jagex will have to pay to make there servers faster (uhm im talkin paying BIG 6-7 digit numbers $$$!) , or the game will not be playable AT ALL, not a chance.

I like the sharing loot idea.I hate when someone takes my items cause they did more damage than me everyone should have a fair chance at getting the item. I think that a party should be able to attack single combat monsters. There should be a lvl restriction on the party maybe 10 up and 10 down. You shouldn't share xp if u attacking and doing damage then u are getting enough xp. I like the aura idea not the crown above your head and if someone is bugging u u can ingore and not get party invites.

 

 

 

I Think this idea will work with some improvements u have my support

BUT - the share exp thing shouldnt happen, its too open to abuse have a party of high lvls all training a friends low lvl for them? if you had 100 people in your party all attacking the enemy you could just sit there and get exp at a phenomanal rate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

my fave thing is the drops being seen by everyone, then nobody could say they got something other than they did, i assume only the person who did the most damage to the monster/player can pick up the drop, the others just see it right?

Share Exp is a baad idea.

 

 

 

Drops, I agree with Mario_tpop, it must only be allowed to be picked up by the one who killed him. Possibly show a big star or something over other members heads when they kill someone, that way you know who got it.

I don't see how the sharing XP thing would work. You'd have some kid on a laptop, on his pker, training strength with his main on his other computer, sharing all of the strength experiance with his newb pker.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The only way I see that working at all, is if there was a 5 hit point differance threshold, and they'd hafta stay remotely in the same area. Possibly a drop from the team if someone doesn't contribute to the experiance pile within a minute or two.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But that's the only way it could work as far as I see it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Party system in Knight Online:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

People in the party appear right side of screen.

 

 

 

The leader has a "P" symbol in front of his name as long as he is party leader.

 

 

 

The rest of the party a special colour name as lang as they are in your party.

 

 

 

You got more xp solo than in a party, but in a party you still get enough xp (shared) to make party xp-ing better than solo xp, which seems logical because there is more to it. You can say this makes people already 99 in something pissed, but so does about every update (pest control etc.).

 

 

 

Coins get shared between everyone, and everyone gets a drop in turn.

 

 

 

You can only request party for someone 2/3 of your level below your level, and half ur level above your level. This prevents noobs partying you nonstop.

 

 

 

Also, higher levels partying up with lower levels increases the xp per kill (which can be translated to per hit in RS), this would stimulate higher levels helping lower levels instead of kicking them out from every xp spot.

 

 

 

Only difference is in KO everyone has different jobs, as in RS everyone kinda does the same. This can be changed though.

 

 

 

A good idea imo would be to be able to create a party and enter a minigame with it, which requires high elvels in different skills, so you need a varied team of people to clear the game, and ofcourse get alot of xp.

 

 

 

Tbh this is a good idea which will add some (very needed) depth in this game.
