Okei, about a month ago i started runescape again, coming back only with 10 glory ammies in my bank. So a friend barrowed me a whip until i could afford one myself. I earned the whip by killing green dragons. So i had my whip and had some extra cash to buy sharks. Bought 500 sharks, used them all in abyssal demons - no whip. No nothing. So my friend barrowed me again some stuff, and we went king daggonaths, as a melee. 5 trips, roughly 60-70 green guys killed - no drop. So now i was in real debt... But my great friend Yksix barrowed me again some stuff, to go to kq together. So i took out the oldschool kq slaying set and we set off. Killed them quite a few - no chain. Thats normal couse we only killed like 10 or so, but i would like to add i have killed MORE than 300+ KQ in my runescape carrer and NO chain. So some IRL friends called me out to get some beers etc. (I am 18, can buy it legally, haha), so, i come back to home... Then i see in irc - Yksix and 2 other my friends went to KQ and got the chain, just after i had left. I am not jelous or anything, but this freaking upsets me. AM I THE UNLUCK TALISMAN? So, now i took my trusty whip, all i have left, and went to abyssals (killing them as writing). These are my last sharks. So, i am pretty sure i wont get anything except defence xp. Commonly im not a very unlucky person, had several dragon drops and ~11 whip drops time before the quit. Now i come back and manage to destroy all my assets. To put it all together, i have just wasted everything i have, killing kbd, kq, dk and so on... NOTHING! Thanks alot runescape drop system. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Currently on a 1000 demon dry streak... And I've killed a few hundred KQs since my last chain. Have terrible barrows luck too, not had a drop worth over 1M for about 300 trips... m4tty Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 unlucky... i think its a bad idea to rely on luck, best to only do things which rely on luck to be good, when its if u get bad luck its ok, and if u get good luck, its good. (if that made any sense at all lol.) ive never got a good drop in my whole time on rs, except afew half keys, some decent clues, and a karils top, so i hardly ever do anything which u lose money doing if u get bad luck. only good luck ive ever had is only being hit for 20-30 when i had the wrong prayer on while getting my fire cape. Little, but still very helpful. i hate you... j/k lol, ive never had a dragon drop in the three years ive been playing... that makes me sad :cry: 99 HP, Attack, Strength, Defence, Summoning, Ranged, Herblore, Prayer, Agility, Magic, Slayer, Fletching, Fishing, Woodcutting, Mining, and Thieving. chris28 Posted September 16, 2006 Share Posted September 16, 2006 Ive had this sort of luck when i got scammed my whip ages ago, the day after i lost it i decided to get my money back through barrows, i spent all the money from the mystic tops that i got from the scam and the rune boots my friend gave me and got 500k in p pots. I barrowed for about 7 hours and got nothing atall, did about 45 runs. :wall: So i decided to go green dragons for a bit of money and got a clue, the clue reward was zammy kite and rune (h) when they were worth 350k. This helped me out alot and i spent the money on karils, dont ask why i just did. I decided to get 70 ranged from fire giants, was 62 at the time and got alot of good drops. After 70 ranged i got a fire giant task and got a d med :P . This was finnaly enough to get me another whip. lilray88 Posted September 16, 2006 Share Posted September 16, 2006 i got bad luck in drops as well...everytime i get gargoyles for slayer assignment...i get nothing but coin drops, once in a blue moon i may be lucky to get a uncut sapphire or ruby, that's it i bet u if its possible for me to kill 200 kqs in 1 trip i wouldnt get nothing but maybe the laws and bloods it drops? oh yea this 1 time when i was killing gargoyles for task i was so mad because around 100 kills straight i get nothing but coins so i threw the stupid ring of wealth away...cause i think the ring of wealth only increases the coins rate drop 6 years of playing since February 27th 2002still a classic'er Wars aren't won by dying for your country, it is won by making the other sons of b*tches die for theirs.period. I would say that I have a mixed bag when it comes to luck. Worst thing that ever happened to me was when I lagged out and got kiled by an evil chicken, losing around 10K of stuff. However recently I lagged out during a Drunken Dwarf random, with around 1M worth of runes in my invt, however for some reason when I logged back in the Dwarf was gone and I had like 10HP left... devil113 Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 Well it happened yesterday.I had just bought an easter egg again and 1 hour later it happened.I was not member anymore so you can't blame me because i didn't bank the egg.Yea well i was fishing and talking in Mirc the same time.Checked back on rs and river troll was hitting me.I start to walk away bam 12 *omfg 4 hp left* bam 4 * i drop on floor* I was trying to run back as fast as i could but the newb with mithril full had gotten my egg + 80k feathers.He ran away me never seeing him again.The end of my richness.Lost 16.5 mill with that + 80k feathers. #-o Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
