weasel
ok, so this is an extremly small secret, but i find that it could save you alot of time if you are clumsy like me. Ok so, when you are thieving you click like mad at the "pickpocket" and sometimes accidentally hit "attack", when you usually run up stairs, well this is faster than running up stairs, you only have to walk a few steps and the knight will stop. Firstly you will need to lure a Specific knight, the one that respawns just west of the cooks stall (green), and lure him to the building just north of that one (along blue line). Once this is done, pickpoket and when you accidentally attack him walk to this pink line, and he will stop so you can continue, saves you a few seconds every time, so i think it's worth doing. Hope this has been of some help, sorry if this has been posted already -= weasel =- rsname: moosewalker ~ top 10000 player :Dfull qp - always willing to chat add me... Iglw
Yup, all creatures have a specified area in which they will follow you when in combat, sort of to keep them from following you across the entire map when moving away from battle. Step out of the area and they will stop attacking you. (So this is useful in other situations too, not just thieving) Thieving ftw!

bacab
I usually use that little house thingy near the docks in Ardougne. This way you get to close the door and exit out the open entrance and not be attacked. Then reenter the house and thieve away. It's also best to put mouse buttons to "1" so that you can open the menu with the left mouse button if you're combat level is higher than the thing you're thieving. We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.
