MisterPnut
Okay, you know those emotes that you got from haloween and easter? Well new players can't use them just becaus they started playing runescape later. Now i mean they shouldn't get the items but they should get the emotes. 1 way they can get emotes: random events Make a random event (like the graveyard one) so they can get the emote scared. this suggestion really needs ideas. To the people who says it shows that they've been around along time, well yes but so does the items so i think you can give up an emote. XshinobizX
dont know....having new emotes may be good but...still,these are awards for the old players.so they can prove that they have been playing a long time... Shinobi DF Forever{DF Forums} ~ {DF's Memberlist}
Dalcyte
i hate it when people make this suggestion, no offence. But the emotes are a signification that people have been around for a long time and have been playing for a long time...When a little noob gets angry cause he can't do it, i think its not the end of the world, he/she should get it that only people who were pplaying for that long get it. Don't say this bout scythes and bunny ears do u? Click for mah Blog!- I'm not sure why you would though because i never update it Achieved 99 Thieving 3/10/07-992nd to it
MisterPnut
still its not really fair to the new players. the items can show they've been around for along time but come on what if a player joins and because really good, then tries to get all the emotes and can't? Giordano
NO Want to know why? So it can show how long someone has been playing. Cant you get that through your thick skulls... "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." tinyslam90
really the whole point in haveing a dumb little amote that is useless is to show how long you have been playing. If some new player wants to do it then he should build a time machine Fisher 4 lyfe. 86,674 to 99 cooking36,414 to 99 fishing! (7/31/10)
Seahawk10490
Those emotes are there to show people how long theyve played, you dont deserve to have an emote from 2004 because you joined in 2006. EYOWAREYA
They shouldn't be able to get the emotes, but the button from the emote should be removed so they aren't stuck looking at an unusuable button forever.
inferno_char
They shouldn't be able to get the emotes, but the button from the emote should be removed so they aren't stuck looking at an unusuable button forever. I agree new players simply shouldnt get the buttons at all. We old timers have the right to something unique to how long we've been playing. I'd much rather get emotes as holiday gifts than ugly looking items i never wear or use.
ghostman
Yeah, remove the button, but what if someone was playing at the time, but just wasn't online for the days of the event? Currently P2P. I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. Nero
It's stinkers, because ive been playing since early 2001, and I have none of these emotes or holiday random events... , I seem to always pick the most opportune moments to take a break from Runescape. Lep
NO Scythes and Bunny Ears are to show how long you've played, so are the emotes. :x
Nenga
The holiday emotes say that they were there for that event, thats realy the only thing they have to say they've been playing longer why do you want to take that away? That is why I do not suport, older players should be reconisable from newer players. Ponies!
ThurinEthir
There are only two holiday emotes, righ? Scared and Bunny Hop? So why not just add a new option to the Zombie Head and Easter Ring? There could be a right click option for the Zombie Head. For the Easter Ring, when you "wear" it, a screen in your chatbox could pop up. There would be two options, Bunny Hop and Morph. It would take longer, but most people don't use them... inferno_char
How about those who couldn't play RuneScape due to difficulties with the game but joined before the emote? Basically just tough luck, all the new holiday events give you 2 weeks in which to take part and get emotes + items which is plenty of time to take advantage. If you cant find an hour in 2 weeks in which to play why do you bother playing at all?
scruff636b
you know what, you could give the new players an oppurtunity to buy the emotes or do something for them like having to kill a load of zombies until one drops a head, or having Diango have a shipment of _____ and needing help getting them back as they were stolen, it would be like Jad however so there would be risk in trying to get it heck, the easter ring thing could become a new minigame, like egg roll, escape from the Chicken Island so: 1a: Rubber Chicken (P2P Attempt) Basically, to start this you need to have completed Slug Menace, have 60 crafting or be able to buy glue and oil from _____ (a shop keeper) You basically need to get a large chicken (Lvl60) or a Evil Chicken (Lvl 100) and put a cast of rubber/clay/other material on it. After doing this you need to find a way to make it rubber, ooh! i know! you need that glue from the Slug Menace Quest After this, you need to get it enchanted: This is the Dangerous part go to Zanaris and go to the Evil Chicken's Lair. Now try and find another Evil Chicken, this time it is Lvl300 and your prayer is drained. there are also lvl 40 chicks all around it, and its MULTI COMBAT!!! EEK! after putting it to 1hp, it will stop and it will give you a wish: your chicken will now be enchanted Stats: -200 in all stats when wielded, Dance and Whack. This chicken is more orange than the original and is untradeable Name: A Rubber Chicken Description: Defienately not the most powerful weapon in runescape 1b: Rubber Chicken (F2P attempt) To get the rubber chicken on F2P is even harder, you don't have Zanaris or a shrine so you need to make one. doing this need 60 crafting and 60 mining. you also need to get a egg as a drop from a Lesser Demon (wow, its very rare!). these are the offering and shrine now, after offering your egg as a tribute the the chicken you will enter the abyss, only there will be a Lvl200 Gru-Eth-Jagag - Major Evil Chicken in Chickesh. now you have the Evil Chicken's Body, you will need a 8 pots of Acid, made by in a furnace placing the following: 8 pots of poison (made from 8 rat poisons placed into pots) 16 Sea Salts (rarely fished even with 40 fishing, with small net) 8 flour 8 Crushed Dried Citrus Fruits (found in Karamja, does 8 damage if you try and eat it, beware!) now use the 8 pots into the body, you now have a mould for an RUBBER CHICKEN! to make the glue you need to use superheat item on 10 coal and 5 oil (oil is found by using a vial on the swamp bubbles in Lumbridge Swamp). You now need to get the blessing go back to your shrine. offer another egg, only this time it must be a Evil Chicken Drop got by YOU. now offer it. You now have to fight a Lvl500 Black Dragon in a Multi combat area with Lvl40 Ducks also all around the area, if the dragon is on lopw health it will start eating them AND casting spells all around on them, turning them into LvlYOURCMBT Giant Ducks

oreocookie987
holiday emotes are like holiday items, you have to play at that time or you miss it forever. I don't like this idea and 100% disagree. On a side note, proud to say i have both Scared and Bunny Hop \ Expecting a good life because you're a good person is like expecting a bull not to charge because you're a vegetarian.
