September 20, 200619 yr Hey, check out this spiffy GIF I just made! Yeah I know, that's not a great thing to animate, but I wanted to try it out, couldn't think of anything, and in my family violence equates to humor. I made this by drawing out the images in paint, turning them into an AVI with Hypercam, and cropping them down and animating them into a GIF with AVD Processor. The point is, the whole thing took me about twice as long to get into a GIF than it did to actually draw, and it wasn't half as fun. Is there an easier way to do this? Anyone know of a good program? I'm rahter proud of the finished product, though. ^_^ My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.

September 20, 200619 yr I used to use a program that was just dragging and dropping picture files into the order you want them, and that made the .gif. It came with a copy of a C++ compiler/builder (hell I can't even remember what those are anymore).
September 20, 200619 yr VIOLENCE!!! Why is it always bloody violence?! AAAAARGH!!!! ANYWAY, yes, you can use different programs for doing this kind of thing. In fact I did a filming/acting/animations course in Greenwich last August. I can't remember the software we used but I'll try and find out. It was top stuff. =D>
September 21, 200619 yr I dunno why, I think mine and my bros were both of some sort of fighting or shooting. Actually, a smilely face with a huge head might have been my first (he was driving a car, how insane!)

ActionScript or not? :P Btw, the reason ppl always have their first gif shooting ppl in the face is because gif makers are violent. I made my first with Animation Studio 3 (It came with Jasc PSP 8)

September 23, 200619 yr We have to make a movie in technology (sp?) class/computer class using Windows Movie Maker, ... still havent decided what I'm actually going to have in it (it's supposed to concern me). Anyway, we need an intro of course, and for mine im using MS paint, I drew three rain drops on Paint, saved it, copy it, file-New, edit-Paste, move the rain drops down 1 pixel, save as something else... well, I've repeated this 60 times now and am finally at the bottem where the rain drops hit ground and are splashing, only took the whole class hour :shock:. Wish I knew a better way, have no idea how people make movies/flash stuff, but like it matters, it's a student computer, so it probably wouldn't have the program to do such. Maybe I'll save it on a CD (my comp don't have a floppy drive) and show y'allz : *crosses fingers, please get good grade!* Reported for violence. No jk. Good for the first time I guess. I'm sure something the wieght of a gun doesn;t fall that slow. :wink: Earth's Gravity holds a force upon all objects at the same amount :wink: , so more like any object wouldn't fall that slow.. maybe they were in some wierd anti-gravity thing that his bullet and the blood defied it :D

Only outside forces affect the rate of descent, i.e. Air resistance. Anyway, I know what you mean though. But I wanted it to be clear that this gun was randomly falling out of the sky into a person's hand. My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.
