I done a barrows run earlier with Ice Rush. It was almost rubbish on brothers. Karil in tunnels no problem, I always use melee on him, got bored and used Ice Rush. First hit 14, second hit 15, 3rd 4. That was better than the melee brothers.

I think you're thinking of the wrong brother. Karil's armor splashes ancients most of the time. It has better mage def than black d hide.

i don't know really, when i do slayer dart, it seems to hit karil's more and higher than the brothers for me too

Because of Karil's low defence, you don't miss spell as often as you would miss on a player with black d'hide and decent mage.

Well i went to Barrows for the first time today and read a fair bit about it, and it seems that despite Karils armour having a high magic defence bonus he infact has hardly any magic defence himself. This could be wrong but it's from the Tip.It barrows guide.

I do abut 20 runs a week.... sometimes 100 times a week.....

 

 

 

And yes, sometimes I have splash parties on Karil but most of the time he is the fasted one to go down on ancients....

True, as magic level provides more magic defence, and Karil's magic is probably 1, his magic def is also lower.

Karil is horrible against magic. Magic goes through Karil like coffee goes through a hamster with diarrhea.

I've always maged Karil with Magic Dart, bambambam dead.

It's true that Karil has a low mage def as his mage lvl is only 1. However the melee brothers also have a mage lvl of 1, so Karil should be harder to kill, but it's not always the case, it's just the luck of the moment, like when Guthans doesn't heal for 5 minutes then yo heal 10 times in a row, but generally I've found that is either an extreme, or pretty average, you either kill him in 6 hits, 10-12 hits or 20 hits (don't quote the no.s exactly), it just seems it's more likely that you kill him in 10-12 hits and you get the odd few that take a few more/less hits.

 

Looking at the randoms in veracs tomb, I remember whilst fighting dharok, seeing 2 alchers get a mime at the same time, I just wondered...WHERE IS MY MIME???????

Quadruple DDS'ing Karil, with Rune Def, and Super Attack, AND Incredible Reflexes, grand total of 4 damage.
