The Padres and Dodgers are tied, but no tiebreaker game is needed. Anyways, who do you think will win? I think the Mets will win...Even without Pedro. But i am dissappointed in the Braves, ending a streak of 14 consec years in the playoffs is pretty disappointing. I can't decide who I shoud cheer for, my former favorite player's (Bill Mueller) team, or the closest team to where I live, not counting the Yankees. Or maybe I should cheer for the Chien-Ming Wang and the Yankees, and get beat up at school. And a little thing I noticed...Whenever someone leaves the Red Sox, they do extremely good. Arroyo? Started out very good this year. Pedro? The same. Cla Meredith? His ERA was what, 81 when he was on the Sox. This year, it was somewhere around 1. Josh Bard? Awful at the beginning of the year, but when he went back to SD, he was on fire. And Wang spoiled Santana's Triple Crown. But i'm goin for the Mets. Im a huge Met fan. I was at game 2 on thursday. It looks like its gonna be Stl and NY in the NL, both up 2-0. And I think its gonna be Oakland and Detroit in the AL. Tigers are up 2-1 and the pitching matchup today has an advantage for Detroit. The Padres can't score runs, so it looks like the Cardinals are going to win that series. Mets-Dodgers is probably going to be the best matchup today with Maddux vs Trachsel. Both had similar regular season numbers. I think all the series will end today. With the Mets and Cardinals sweeping, and the Tigers knocking off the Yankees.
