Phew, i just finished reading through all 5 pages of the thread. It's good news that your account was FINALLY reinstated, you seem like the kind of guy that really deserves to be playing runescape. You said in a previous post " Hey, I'm more willing to take responsibility for my action, I'd be more than ok if they told me which rule(s) I broke and being able to look or partially look at the evidence so I could CONTEST it". I really admire people who can say that they have done something (Knowing they haven't intentionally) and are willing to accept the consequences, as long as they have the evidence to support it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Compared to some kids who say "I didn't break any rules, I just used a mates program to click on the screen for me". Those are the ones who truly deserve to have the account banned

I have received another letter from Jagex, another surprise and I see more and more a company who actually cares now when I have been wondering if they really did care at all. An appologie for what happened and also a 7 day credit placed on my account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have always stated that I didn't want this thread to be about trashing Jagex, I had felt an injustice had been done to me and others, stating also that I had been playing by the rules and modified myself since that first ban which I should have been honest enough to state that I was guilty and that I was sorry but I wasn't honest enough back then to do that.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But, when you play by the rule, you expect that the effort you do are rewarded of course, not being discouraged by errors like these. I remain a as resolved as ever to continue to play by the rule, this, even if my account would have remained banned.

This happened to me about a week or half a week ago, and I was almost freakin' out :?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It also wouldn't let me send an appeal, so I was really, really confused as well. However, I checked the next day, and it was unbanned, but even though I did nothing, they sent me a message saying things like "This is your last chance." etc.

Well, at least we know Jagex has some sympathy with giving you the 7-day credit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And as an absolute last resort, Andrew Gower has an official account on these forums, where you might be able to send a message to him via that. If you remember an old Tip.It Times about Jagex banning and not-banning based on the time their account's been active, the artical was a tad biased that older accounts were less likely to be banned, and Andrew openly posted on these forum a threat of charging the author with libel.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Congrats on getting your account back, Jagex really needs to work on their banning system. Maybe they need to make it COMPLETELY MANUAL, rather than automated.
