October 23, 200619 yr I posted this in RS General, but i felt like id post it here as well. If anybody here watches LPBW, has anybody noticed that the little boy, jacob plays runescape? They are in hawii right now, and he was playing runescape in the hotel room. And in another episode him and his sister were fighting and he said "I WAS ON RUNESCAPE FIRST!" Just wondering if anybody else noticed this

Though I don't understand why the pkers stick around when there are games (that are free!) that are devoted to pvp instead of mostly carebearing like Runescape.. October 24, 200619 yr If you record it and stop the tape right when they go to the computer screen, the blur isn't over her name right away so you can see who she is. :P Honestly, it'd be creepy if you did that, though. I smirked and giggled when I saw that they play it, lol. I still don't know how they afford all that crap they have...The dad is trying to be a farmer and sells software, which may or may not be a high-paying job...I know software engineers make bank, like $100k+ per year, but just selling it? I dunno'. And the mom is a teacher...And there is like 5 kids, so I dunno' how they do it. :P The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!
October 24, 200619 yr Personally I don't find the show very entertaining. "Oh goodness, midgets! We should capitalize on their deformity and repeat the same plot points and illustrate their same basic difficulties over and over while creating artificial sympathy on the part of the audience! Besides their stature (or lack thereof) they simply lead a hectic life like millions of other nuclear American families; nevertheless, their shortness makes them SPECIAL!" I really hate reality shows, but the way Little People in a Big World is marketed just makes me sick. Although one might argue that it draws attention to the plight of little people to me it magnifies the differences in America today. They are little. I somehow believe that they are now tired of receiving everybody's sympathy and getting brown-nosed wherever they go. I know I would be. And filming all this and putting it on television... ugh. Barring my rant, I'm also glad I stopped playing P00nscape some time ago. In fact, I haven't played any MMOs since. To me they are almost all just things like time-consuming training, training, merchanting, and training, all of whcih I simply do not have time for anymore. handed me TWO tissues to clear up. I was like "i'm going to need a few more paper towels than that luv"
October 24, 200619 yr Yea when I first saw a commercial for that show I just shook my head. Those kinds of shows are pathetic. And yea, runescape is pretty big now. Isnt it like the 2nd or 3rd largest mmorpg? I dont remember where but I think I heard that somewhere.
