Prices gonna drop again?

This thread is weird! What! It means prices will drop! Well it's not like they wud change it cause of new skill. What the hell Dont get what ya mean. It is not like a p hat will now cost 2gp.

Well, I thought someone may point this out, but New weapons/armor are available with hunting. Definantely not barrows level, but I think whips/mystic may take a drop.. So, people own those, may be a good idea to sell those before they drop... :-w

Don't ask me how they'll manage it, but I'm guessing Jagex is hoping to suck a few more billion gp out of the RS economy through Hunting.

Someone had a quote from Mod Paul saying that the purpose of this skill was not to drain money out, but I lost track that post and what thread it was in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I personally agree with those who sad basic supply prices (ores, bars, logs, runes) will rise, because Hunting will probablly involve some sort of other skill to help it with its materials.

My sister just bought a bunch of dragon armor but sold it today because of the annoucnment of the skill. The prices have already droped :shock: .

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If the prices go down its because people want to have money to spend on the skill and won't concentrate on getting the best deals. It dosn't have to be a money sink.

 

 

 

It will be similar to when slayer was released; it didn't really affect prices.

The particular goal may be to expand the known world of Runescape, add new foods, quests, etc. That they made it a huge cash sink is just a nice side effect from Jagex's perspective.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I think this post, if true, is actually clear evidence that it WILL be a massive money drain, even though that is not the "particular" aim (as it clearly was for Construction).

im gonna try to be the first to get 99 hunting, sooo... nah not really a bunch of my friends want me to but i was like [bleep] that i was like ill just try to get 80 hunting as soon as i can
