We are also adding some other smaller features to the game later this month, such as clockwork toys for your cats, teleportation tablets, making your own cups of tea and even chairs you can sit down in.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"Make your own cups of tea and your own chairs" is basicly what it's saying.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the clockwork toys are made by crafting I give you that.

You won't.. remember when they updated prayer? They tried putting in a scroll bar, but it failed miserably, so they just expanded the existing format and shrunk a few things here and there.. voila! No scrolling!

C'mon, don't be such a critic. Its alright if it has some resemblances. I mean, how much different could a lobster pot (a.k.a trap) be from a animal trap? Pretty simple, if you ask me. If you want to get technical about this, we'll do it some other place, but not here, as this is not the place.

It looks like a recolored, smoothed-on-the-top scorpion cage... The lob cage looks smoother and thicker at the bottom and the brown bit sticks out a bit.

 

 

 

And no i haven't found it but it'll prolly be a like a scorp cage or lob pot.

The answer to all of those is a resounding "NO". A symbol is just something easily recognizable for the skill, not to represent a certain aspect of it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Take crafting for example. Can you make dragonhide armour with a chisel? I think not.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And the construction icon.. has nothing to do with aspects of it able to be done by players. They let the NPC take care of sawing their logs..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, if you'll get off my back about this, we can let this thread get back to the topic at hand, and that is if anyone FOUND the icon, not what it looks like in particular.

In fact, all that Jagex said about construction is:

It does say "some other smaller features" not that we'll be getting our own houses and all that. They never announced POH's or Construction, although some people did manage to find some information through URL editing and such. They probably leaked that information for a few days to make people excited! And many people did collect logs and got a high rank in the beginning.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But that they were releasing a new skill was never officially announced, people could only assume it from the KB leaks. This time the new skills actually is announced, which makes it different.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

How stupid do you have to be to not realise that they meant construction? It's pretty bloody obvious unless you're VERY stupid. There were A LOT of hints towards construction, loads of leaks and such as I stated in my other post. What skill did you think you'd use to make chairs? Fishing? Seriously, I don't understand how so many people were surprised about the release of construction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And my post was aimed towards the person that say they were totaly shocked when construction came out, it didn't take much to work out that it was coming, same with hunting. Hunting stuff will probably not be leaked, Jagex learnt their lesson with construction and the prayer update they now sort of put random image names for their important images so they're basicly impossible to find.

I think hunting will be cool, I dont like how you have to do a quest to unlock it like herblore but meh, it should be a good skill and I think jagex is going to make it a time-consuming skill which is extremely hard to level. But im up for a challenge, if I get to to 70 or 80 it will bring me or bring me close to 1.8k total and 70+ all stats again. :D

monkeybeast, when did I say that I found that? I didn't, get your facts straight. All I said that I made a topic about it in March which was quite a while after they were first discovered. That was proof enough it could come out at any time, but I'm sure a lot of people didn't see it or any of the other leaks but the BTS was clear enough, they said you could make chairs, making chairs = construction, simple as.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To the other guy with 1 post, I wasn't trying to impress anyone, I was stating that all the signs were there that construction was going to be released when it was, if you didn't know about all the leaks then fair enough but as I said the BTS should have been enough. Oh and it was no where near a page, it was a few paragraphs. I'm sorry for not making my posts pointless and short if I did that I would have a much higher post count by now.
