How do YOU kill Abberant Specs?

Back when I had my main I used to wear monk robes, Archer hat and use a magic short? Always ranged them with protect from magic ofc. Worked for me.. I also used black Dragon Hide and lobbies when I was a lil' skint. Anyway.. I just wasted a post saying summin eveyone else has said but anywya maybe it helped.. Who knows.. Who knows..

If you don't wanna use prayer, just wear the best mage defense outfit you got, and bring a full load of good food. The best mage defense outfit happens to be range boosters, so its a good way to train range.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Melee is faster, of course, so if you wanna go that way, you can mix and match magic defense with some melee bonus (defender and , for instance)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Pray pots aren't really *used* if you boost your prayer bonus due to the herbage the give. Just keep all ranaars.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Personally, I use the magic defense/food method, because I need as many pray pots as I can get for things you "have" to have them on, and these guys are great for building up the pray pot supply.

I can have up to 125+ magic defense and they still hit regualy on me, I waste quite a lot of food using the high magic def method. I prefer praying.

Oh and 535rd to 99 magic and I was once in top 200 mages :P .. and one of the first 200 to get Ice Barrage.

But you are lvl 99 defence with 96 magic :P . Us commoners get hit way too often.

I wasn't always that high. Even if you do get hit alot, with a full load of food you can last pretty good. Bank isn't that far.

My method:

 

 

 

I melee them with karils on till I am down to 4 food, then I let my hp go to about 25 , then I put on my prostlyte armour and mage pray till im down to 2 free spaces, I then melee with kairls until I have 1 monkfish left, again I let my hp drop (so I can heal while I pray) and melee the rest. If you are like me you hate banking so I usually end up dropping slayer gem and only keeping ranarr and kwuarm (not unids) and I keep most high level seeds just cause they stack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PS - I leave if I get a clue with more then 50 remaining.

I use the new pary armor, whip, zammy book, rune boots, obby cape. In my inv cash(maybe), dds, 5-7 pray pots, attack/ str pots, slayer gem, luner staff. Thats all

Nosepeg, firecape, salve amulet, whip, proselyte, rune defender, barrow gloves, rune boots and of course ring of wealth(always use ring of wealth on slayer tasks). Inventory: 1 zamorak brew (+21 attack instead of +19 from superattack at 99 attack) 1 super strenght, 3 prayer pots and house tele tablet.
