Yesterday my friend bought thousands of deaths and chaos 280ea and 130 ea respectively from people not in the highscores at all (a lvl 22 and a lvl 3, or something).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Just today, i bought 10k deaths 280ea from this lvl 4 guy. he's not in the highscores for any skill.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The weirdest thing is, both he and I found these deals from official runescape forums. That means they are p2p.

if it's duplication, or drop trading, why pay for p2p..

They risk being banned for multi accounting. AND losing their p2p accounts (and hence cash)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, this serves no purpose but to get money on their low lvl accounts. What for? They are not pures, they have no good skill...

its bot this, then bot that... always been like that... after they made 5mil with feathers they go to another spot... they still could sell the money as real item world trading..

Ok my friend has elaborated on the real world item trading concept..they trade it to new accounts so if they get banned for real world trading only the new account is banned

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Still.. it seems a fair bit of investment to pay for membership on the new accounts in return for being able to sell the runes easier..

they could be middlemen.. selling on behalf others and taking a cut.. but that seems like stank idea come to think of it..

They maybe just merchants with one guy, but makes the things they sell with another guy? But I think that is just stupid...So why?

Ive been looking at this guy's activities (no name will be disclosed). He's suddenly selling more deaths at 280ea and chaos runes 130ea. He doesnt seem to have me on Ignore (asked my pal to add him to check), and he certainly hasnt been world switching..seems to take away the second option

Lets just go with they got it in a legit way (merchanting) until you have proof of other stuff. Maybe they wanted a make a char just to try and make money with, and they know something about getting runes in P2P that the general public of Runescape doesn't.

Get a level 3 character, make him members, and steal some gold from Man. A few times, and you have some money (self made :o). Pick gold up off the ground that people leave lying there when they kill a guard or whatever else they just killed, you have money.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Take that money and go buy a chaos rune from a rune shop, and sell it for more than what you bought that chaos rune for, OMG did you just make a profit with no skills? :-k

MERCHANTERS who used drop trade to start probably

auto buyers, i had a chat with a person that does do that

 

 

 

said he buys like 100k's of feathers a day from one account

 

 

 

he has about 5 pc's running the same program

 

 

 

that's why you can see some people selling millions of feathers at a time on the forums

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

they can do the same with runes i guess

 

 

 

he hasn't been banned :-#

They drop trade around 1mil from their mains to their pures, then they buy death runes with macros untill they have around 50mil, then they sell it for real cash/drop trade it to their mains again.
