aa. use photoshop, and use the poly-whatchamicallit thing, then after you make a section, stroke it. then fill with the bucekt tool. shade by creating a new layer, using the polythign tool to create sections that you want shaded, and fill them with black. set that layer to 10-30%opacency. also works on gimp.

Ideally do it on photoshop as eckered said, but as a small criticism to this one; his left arm looks a little odd and the shield seems to just be floating underneath his hand.

Even though it is a cartoon. I'd be a little more antomicaly correct. Not perfect, but you could increase the neck width, or lengthen the head in height, and redo the shoulders.

cape thing: i was using the cape emote thread to find out what attack cape looked like so im not sure but will find out in 4 levels (well 4 + 31k xp).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

btw i copied the text you did from my old sig and was wondering what font it is?

I'm doing cartoons too (my sig), and I use the Pen tool.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

First select a color, and then make a shape with the pen tool. You may stroke it if you want.

He's on about the non-pixel sig, but yes don't use this technique for pixeling. everything must be manual :

The perspective is a bit odd when comparing the blockade and the wall but you have lots of petential if this is truly your first pixel. I'm going to try and stay hands off on this one and see where you take it. The spears at the bottom (I think they're spears) are just wierd and..............fatish?
