November 14, 200619 yr Oh jesus, will you ever go away? Honestly this is what, the 18th spam thread you made... That was harsh.. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
November 14, 200619 yr Author ...This is news about a new invention. I thought it was amusing. Damn it Apinagez.
November 14, 200619 yr I love you and your spamingness  Supermonk, proving you wrong since 1992. Supermonk rocks, I want to have his children.Music is like candy. You always get rid of the rapper.
November 14, 200619 yr I don't get it, even if TDS is maybe a bit of a 'colorful' person on the forums, this is a totally legitimate thread. Read the article, it's very interesting. In this astonishing photo, a model is wearing a new gadget, from electronics manufacturer Toshiba, that enables the wearer to experience a full 360-degree view on a 40 centimetre dome-shaped screen. That is AWESOME. But since the thing weighs 3kg (about 6lbs), you wont really see many people, especially kids like in that picture, using it. They'll have to make a lighter version. Sure, it's kind of "useless", but have you ever been to a 360degree cinema? When you watch one of those special movies custom made for the theatres where you fly over huge icebergs, it literally feels like you're there and you may lose feeling of your legs. I try to be as rational as possible and don't let entertainment effect me too much, but in that case it's impossible. I wonder what it would be like if you really fear heights, you'd know for sure nothing can happen to you but you could pass out because you're so shocked.
November 14, 200619 yr I mean, the Toshiba guys must've gone like 'What if we dig a hole under those old TV sets?' ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me
November 14, 200619 yr It's no longer a case of "want"... It's a NEED. Isn't the helmet just a TV with a fish bowl?
November 14, 200619 yr Why exactly is everybody saying this guy is spamming? It does look freaky BTW. And I don't want to know what those things are gonna cost! Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
November 14, 200619 yr That looks mint :D All we need now is a light weight version. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar!
November 14, 200619 yr The helmet itself does look horrible but I can't wait until this type of thing becomes a standard in gaming. Heck, the possibility of using three monitors for some games is pretty awesome, this is just amazing. Triple monitors look like this: http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/gxm/p ... shots.php# http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/337/4/ I know the price. I pay it gladly.
November 14, 200619 yr Who wants to buy it for me for Christmas? I can't wait to play RuneScape on it!
November 14, 200619 yr This might be the very first step to the future's full-size mobile television Remember, first steps never look very ... promising remember teh beginning!: [Star Wreck][PM me][My gallery][DeviantArt][Cool T-shirts!][iron Sky - Trailer is now out!]
November 14, 200619 yr Who wants to buy it for me for Christmas? I can't wait to play RuneScape on it! I'm so glad that the first comment on playing Runescape on it was a sarcastic one.
November 14, 200619 yr Oh jesus, will you ever go away? Honestly this is what, the 18th spam thread you made... Lay off, guys, this isn't spam. It's just that a mate of ours wants to discuss the article. ANYWAY I think... it's kinda...a waste of time. Think of the resources, materials, time and money that will go into those helmets if they ever do get big.
November 14, 200619 yr This might be the very first step to the future's full-size mobile television Remember, first steps never look very ... promising remember teh beginning!: Hehe I used to have a toy model of those phones. The helmet itself seems very... excessive. Sure some people like big screen TVs and big houses, but to wear a fish bowl as some put it on your head to experience a good 'bout of fun? Not my idea of fun really... Plus think of the sound! If that has sound basically trapped inside the helmet, and someone turns it up really high, we could have some damaged ears, not to mention probably damaged eyes. =P I'll stick with my good ol' PC and game consoles thanks. :P Adventurer's Log || YouTube || Facebook || Tip.it Times Work || Wanna Join the Editorial Panel?Maxed Out 01 October 2012 PDT
November 14, 200619 yr Hmm, I don't know if i'd want to be that immersed in any film or tv or game. Might be cool for certain things though. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
November 14, 200619 yr So much for T.V dinners. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
November 15, 200619 yr Originally I agreed with this comment on the article itself: It would be better if there was anything worth watching on TV! - Ian, Lincoln However, as VOV already said, "The helmet itself does look horrible but I can't wait until this type of thing becomes a standard in gaming". I'd love to be playing a FPS game with a 360 view, having to turn my head to see all around, with a gun that I can hold and aim also. Only problem then is making movement around the game arena realistic. For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

If you start to take a step the treadmill realizes it and starts moving at the pace your moving at. :)

Then what about jumping also? For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns. The time when the living and the dead exist as one.
