drgnslyer_15
I do consider myself a skiller my total lvl isn't outstanding but def not too shabby imo. I like to keep a balance between melee and noncombat thats what i think a skiller is all about balance RSN: drgnslyer15 15 skills 90+ - 10 skills 99 - 200m+ total exp
x_bow80
Skillers are cool. If i were a skiller i would get only range up (and other non-combat skills). Then i could be wearing cool range stuff while having a high total. 99 Pics - Range, Defence, HP, Attack, Magic, Strength, Cooking
jimbobjoe
I think like being a lvl 3 or under 90 combat skiller is dumb. You'll have a higher total with higher combat.

jorus2
i know you already decided on what you wanted, but i thought i'd just post here, anyhow. Don't feel obliged to conform to this "skiller" trend. It's your game - play it how you want That was probably one of/the best comments made on the thread. If you want to be a skiller (i'll come to definition later) then be one, if you want to train combat then train it. I've never cared for training combat and have rarely done it, training skills is fun for me; so i do it. One of the things i enjoy most about runescape is competition. I've very competitive and like the idea that runescape gives me constant competition, there's always someone above you for you to try and beat. This is why i stay at my combat level, i like the challenge of gaining total levels while staying at the same combat level, it's what's fun for me - so i do it. As for the definition of a skiller i think RAHK pretty much hit the nail on the head. To me a skiller is someone with higher skills than combat skills, a pure skiller is a level 3-5 with very high skills. If you are a level 126 with 1500 total i personally don't think that you could call yourself a skiller, although i'm fine with that, if you want to have high combat then do it. Your account is your account, no one elses. Play the game how you want. The issue here is quite the same as real life in that you should live life how you want, you should play runescape how you want. Ok there's boundarys - you shouldn't steal, kill etc just as you shouldn't scam, hack etc, but there's punishments for those that do. If you want to take drugs, play rs all day long or anything else then it's up to you. It's no different for runescape. 90 Combat 1900+ Total99 Crafting 99 Cooking 99 Firemaking99 Herblore 99 Fletching 98 Farming
tripsis
I really don't think you should force your way into this one way or the other. Many skillers I see are determined to keep their combat level under 100, even if they really want to train it, just so it makes their stats look even more impressive. Don't worry about getting a high combat level if it's what you want to do. You can still be a skiller with a high combat level in the 100s. Don't feel as if it must remain under 100 in order for you to be a skiller. Afterall, I consider myself a skiller and I'm level 105. Just do whatever you want. Runescape is meant to be fun. Don't go by the stereotypes that have been set down by other players. limdogs
Well, combat IS a skill and it counts for points just like any other. Its also very easy. I used to go to auto fighting monsters and leave my guy for 10min and do things around the house. I had a kitchen timer that would go off every 10 minutes. Then Id log back in and move my guy untill the monsters were agressive and do the same thing again. If I felt like playing more intensly Id do another skill. aj926
If you want to train combat, train it.. Your skills will still be the same no matter what combat level you are. Seriously. I do not get what the big deal is about having a level 3 character chopping magics. Woo hoo, good job.
jessy87
Just please, don't call yourself a skiller unless you actually have really really good stats. Why does someone need to have good stats to call themselves a skiller? Why is a low level with 1800 skill total more impressive than a high level with a 1800 skill total? Both have put the same amount of work into what they do. I'm level 124, I still consider myself a skiller because I enjoy training skills, not because my skill total is high. Actually combat stat's do make alot of the total level, so it is more impressive for a lower level. #-o so, i dont see why combat is a big deal. alot of my exp is combat based. am i a skiller? i guess i mean really does it matter? no its not like its a freakin race to gain the most shock value when some1 highscores you. 1820 total lvl, if you really think about it @ my lvl thats good even @ 123 combat 1820 is still good. i average i think lvl 83 in all stats for that. but hey i have alot of combat exp ooo big deal. 36% of my exp is from non combat when pushing 110mil exp, thats reasonable. If you want to train combat, train it.. Your skills will still be the same no matter what combat level you are. Seriously. I do not get what the big deal is about having a level 3 character chopping magics. Woo hoo, good job. thats just a good way to show how you can avoid doing stuff like teleporting for convenience

MeLikesPizza
I must say, I'm embarassed. Have FUN, that's what is important. I enjoy what I do, because it's not the norm. Your stats are about where mine were when I started, combat wise. Don't let any of these other jokers tell you how to have fun. Yeah! Just have fun. That's all that matters. Only you know what makes you have fun!

Jorgen
You can be high combat, but having a great skill total doesn't mean you're a skiller ;). First get all stats to 60, then 70, 75 and so on. That way your skills grow and also combat, good money from that kind of tactics too if you know how to use it.
