Thats good to know that I haven't missed too many heart pieces! Has anyone played the minigame at Lake Hylia where you fly the cuccoo and land on the Isle of Treasure thing. I've landed on the highest stationary platform and it was a heart piece so I wonder whats on the higher moving platform that could be better than that? Or maybe its a 2nd heart piece?
knowing zelda games its probably a really large rupee

Bump.

I got Zelda, and I have a question.

I burned my shield in the second duengon, and I have no clue how to get it back.

Can someone tell me pl0x?

You can buy it from that store in the hot springs. I have just beaten the second dungeon because its actually my brothers wii and he always hogs it. My friend has beaten the 7th temple and some of the stuff you get is awesome!

I started a new MM profile on my GC version just to get my Zelda fix

Heh, I know how you feel. I'm about done completing my new WW file which I started because of a craving I had for a Zelda game. I really can't wait until February 2nd... My birthday = Wii + LoZ: TP = Hours of the best video game EVER.

I originally planned to get TP on Gamecube, but since I'm getting a Wii for Christmas, I've planned to just get it on the Wii to keep me on it longer.

All I can say about the Wii & TP right now is, I'm about to lose about 10 Lbs. from swinging a plastic controller around for hours. \'

so, 99 hunting skill cape emote?

Shooting yourself, then eating your own meat.

Krj123 - Retired as of February 12, 2007. I've permanently left Repetitivescape for WoW. Fun while it lasted.

Wow, I just played it. As my roommate loaded it up and we sat on the couch we watched the intro... I literally got goosebumps from anticipation and he turned to me and said "You do realize how freaking sweet this game is going to be... 4 years of programming went into this... I've been waiting for this game since I finished Ocarina of Time... I'm too nervous to hit start" :D

Anyway it's awesome so far. Just finished the 1st dungeon after an impressively long 5 hours. Oh and the boomerang is sweet

If you actually stand up and swing your arm around the entire time, you would literally die of exhaustion, you just won't be able to do it.

I don't think they said that. I remember them saying a average person beats the game in 70 hours.

I believe they said 50 hours if you didn't do a lot of the sidequests, and 70 hours if you do them all. I'm going back to do all the sidequests and stuff now, and I can garentee it won't take 50 hours ot do that.

I just finished the game yesterday, I have to say, the last battle was disappointing, I thought it would be somehow harder. W/E, I guess its time to go and find all the little side goals...

Yeah, it was fun though.

I was hoping the game wasn't over but it was pretty obvious it was.

B will swing it if you already have it lit, not put it away. A is the way to turn it off and put it back.

Either way, I finished this today and after some considerations, it wasnt what it was hyped up to be. I feel the story was a major let down, it just didnt have the depth that Majora's Mask had, you dont really get to know any characters and most of them arent characters you will remember in years to come. The ending was pretty average as well and feels rather tacked on and is left fairly open.

The other thing that irritated me is there seems to be no huge side quests, something which made Majora's Mask awesome. Its mostly little tasks and things like that. I wanted something like the Kafei/Anju side quest from MM, but there doesnt seem to be one.

The boss battles were a let down too, granted that when you look back at other Zelda games, they all follow the same formula which is "use item you get in dungeon to stun, hack and slash, repeat," but even then, they still seemed too easy.

Even though it isnt exactly what I had been hoping for, it was still a damn great game but it was let down by the story and lack of side quests. Better than OoT but not better than MM IMO.
