Hello Lauren, Well after thinking about this heavily for several months I've come to a decision. And I have decided to let our friendship go. This is not a spur of the moment, and in fact I could see the end back in September of 2007. I've decided its only fair to let you know why I've made such a tumultuous decision. First and foremost:

 

Feeling: I think this is the most important one, thus I'm putting it first. I feel like when I'm around you I have to act a certain way this is partly your fault, and partly my fault. However, this feeling should not exist. Friends are friends, because they know they can act usually however they want, and will still be accepted. This however was far from the case, and I didn't feel comfortable being around you hardly ever.

 

Lying: This started out innocently enough, but it soon grew into a ravenous disease that frankly I'm tired of curing. I don't know if you always lied to me from the start, or what. But you started lying more and more often and frankly it's [bleep]ing [developmentally delayed]ed. At first I didn't know when you were lying, then I started noticing ,but said nothing. Then the lies started getting more and more outrageous "Omg this guy just picked me up on his back and carried me to class." Yea... ok Lauren. "When I run I sing as loud as I can and I don't care who's listening" That one made me think "so does Lauren even run?" Surely if you do go running you'd know how difficult it is to talk, let alone sing while running. Now, I am learning not to judge people, maybe you have such great lung power you CAN sing loudly, and run. However, you DO care what people think. You always have, and always will. Sure it may not affect most of things, such as the way you dress, but it definitely comes into play when affecting things you consider intimate. And I don't mean intimate in a carnal sexual way, or even a closeness to human beings, but merely a closeness to your soul, your core. I've seen this expressed times, even if only subtly for a moment. Singing, as most people feel as well and as I know you feel lies close to your heart. You'd hate it when people would diss your singing, even if you don't realize it, trust me you do. Sure you'd maybe sing quietly, but there's a big difference. Which I'll discuss in the next segment. Anyways, it is now at the point where I have to decide every time you utter a word. When you say you're at BAM reading Eclipse I don't know if you're actually at home masturbating, or still at ODU. Which to be honest I shouldn't have to, and now won't deal with anymore.

 

Boundaries: You have none. And thats the point. You need to get some, and maybe once you do you'll meet a nice guy. Thats the truth Lauren. In this segment I'm combining Boundaries with a sub-section called "hint taking." Every freaking time I would talk to you on the phone we'd talk forever, which I did for YOU. I hate talking on the phone with all my soul (MAP doesn't count.) And I decided I wanted to stop talking to you "So Lauren I gotta go" you'd reply "Ok... so OMG have you heard Josh Gro-" GODDAMNIT LAUREN RE READ WHAT I JUST SAID. I HAVE TO GO. [bleep]. You never get the hint. When I say I have to go, I MEAN IT! Geez Lauren! What do you need me to say "Bye lauren." -click- thats a douchebag move, but maybe I shoud have just done it. Or in my car, when I said I had to go to babysit Tori @ 8 I think, you DIDN'T GET OUT TIL 9 O CLOCK. What the [bleep] woman? [cabbage]. When I drive up to your house, I say bye so you can get out. Not so you can sit in there wasting my gas. When I try to be nice, and hint at stuff you simply don't get it! And that will RUIN you if you don't shape up. And you'd constantly run over MY boundaries. Lauren, I'm gay and I don't think you REALIZE IT. CREATE SOME BOUNDARIES. When I'm with a hot guy, and he shows me pics of his gf etc you know what I do? I close him out of my mind, there's no point in trying to swim in dried up swimming pool. And you know what? If he says something like "lol suck my [bleep]" you know what I do? Bursh it off like a joke BECAUSE THATS WHAT IS. A [bleep]ING JOKE, NOT AN INVITATION TO PLAY TETHERBALL WITH HIS MANHOOD. Yet whenever I would talk to you, I could tell you still had a schoolgirl crush on me, which is why I never wanted to hang out with you. When you'd walk up to me, you'd check yourself over to make sure you looked good, which is ridiculous because we were friends, you SHOULDN'T CARE WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. When I'm with Sarah, or my other friends (I don't really ever hang out with Mindy unfortunately) I can totally say crap like "im tired let me sleep in your [bleep]" Which even though that sounds kinda childish, immature, and gross, twas funny at the moment. Sarah would laugh, but Lauren if I said that to you, you'd get all wierd, and I'd expect you to say "Really" WOMAN@ I SUCK [rooster]! I'm SORRY! You'd do this wierd intimate thing and I'd feel really guilty when I would basically brush you off. Lauren find a straight guy, and make "wicked hot sex like a twilight book" But please, PLEASE respect people's boundaries, and make your own! Anyways, moving on. Included in this segment is don't take every thing at face value, ok? If I say you look sexy its a polite way to say you look nice, I don't mean I'm attracted to you, or I think you look sexy. BECAUSE i'm gay! NOTE: I am not saying you're ugly. So. But if you think you are I can't be [bleep]ed anymore. Moving on. I feel like I constantly have to tip-toe around your feelings, if I say "Hey Lauren, that shirt doesn't look good on you" then you'd be offended. If I said "hey lauren... you kind of smell" you'd get offended. I never ssay it to demean or belittle you, I tell you so you don't make the mistake again, perhaps when on a date. [cabbage] woman. Also, the all caps in this (and following) paragraphs is for emphasis, as is the language, I don't hate you, I told you that via text, and am telling you now., But If I don't make you hurt, you will NEVER LEARN.

 

HURR DURR HURRAY: Lauren. I don't like coming to your pity parties, so please, stop having them. Goddamn. Whenever I'd try to do anything you'd be like "oh hey remember when I was molested. I had a nightmare about that" WHATEVER. STOP BRINGING IT UP. [bleep]! ARGHHH. Lauren I'm sorry you were molested, even though you said you enjoyed it (or maybe you made it up idk idc) but people this day and age don't wanna hear about it! Common Ties: Pretty short segment Lauren, we have nothing in common. You love your math and school and reading and josh groban and korean music. I love my manson, fashion, video games, sports, friends, etc. But in all reality we have nothing in common, so why be friends? I asked you and you gave this [cabbage] answer "cuz I feel safe" in other words "i'm still crushing on you.' right? Right? I honestly don't care if the philosophy teacher is an mk, or OMG this girl named Gusheshanaqualataniqua couldn't find the vector of the hypotenuse of pascal's triangle. BIG WHOOP. Sorry. Timing: Kinda unrelated. Anyways, the reason I waited until now to tell you, is I didn't want to ruin your birthday, or your first weekned of summer. However, I didn't respond to your texts not because I'm a passive aggressive rat bastard, but so now you aren't as shocked. (btw, my phone was acting funky and I honestly didn't get your texts that I think you sent on tue and thur until fri afternoon) And now you have all summer to find a better more secure and assertive (or passive if thats how you roll) person that you can grow closer to.

 

Ending: Ok Lauren. Thats it. Theres probably more,but those were the key ones. As stated, I don't hate you. And I know whats how it came off in the letter, because I wanted to. You have to feel persecution until it pierces your soul, only then can it heal and become stronger. Move on Lauren, you'll probably go on writing a record deal and curing cancer while I stay at Map communications saying crap like "Hi! Thank you for calling the law firm of Mofadoski and mofadoski! Sam speaking, how can I make you smile!?" until I degrade into nothingness. But I'm ok with that, because that will be my path. Choose your own path, if you need to leave your house so you can be a teacher, than do it! You are more than competent enough to get a job to pay for rent, and scholarships for college. You're [bleep]ing smart, woman. But don't let people make those choices for you! And thats why I'm sending you this now, so you can start your second year of college with a clean slate. Btw, Mindy says she is open to talk to tomorrow, and will be home.

On a serious note it makes me sad to think of what you have had to go through, I don't think thats fair on anyone. Just because you might like guys over girls doesn't make you any different.

idc about typos. and it wasn't that serious... I have this certain tone of voice when I want emphasis, which is what I was implying with the all caps. I probably shouldn't have put this here, since as Quiet sowed (no offence) its hard to judge if I'm too harsh or not, if you don't know the dynamics.
