runescape death animation

anyone think that the death animation in runescape is really funny? i for one do, and i crack up everytime i see someone just fall to their knees like they're praying. if anyone has any random pics of people dying in runescape, whether pking or random deaths or whatever, can u post them here?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE: doesnt matter if they have any valuables or not, im just interested in seeing them fall down :D

runescape deaths are funny so i think jagex should make a new emot for that

but i got a idea on a death lets say you got killed by a arrow so lets say a arrow go threws your heart and you fall back\ if you die from a mage attack you get fried and then turn to ashes\last one lets say you got killed by a melle attack (i'll have to get back on that one)

Person lowers both arms.. Drops weapons..falls on knee's...then falls face first and you see them dissapear like a ghost into thin air...kinda dissolve and dissapear

Ya the animation looks really wierd and worn out. I have always remembered it being the same, maybe we need something new. I have been playing for 2 and a hlaf years and still the same thing.

i like the grim reaper, but i also like holy_monk's suggestion. that'd be cool, if for like halloween next year, you could get a death emote or some thing : that'd be cool! :thumbsup:

Lol I love the death animation. I always imagine the killed guy going "Nooooooooooooooooooo!" while he's on his knees. It's very funny, no need to change it (unless of course they want it to be taken more seriously).

When your attacked by the front of your body, shouldn't the killing hit drop you backwards? But nope, you just bend forward strange.

I think runescape should get their death emotes form mortal combat. Than no one can complain. They should also have more than one, it just gets old after a while.

The greater demon's are a bit dramatic I have to say, and it takes awhile for the drop to appear :P But yes, a new emote would look nice.

I would like the same animation as the one where you were caught thieving h.a.m and was kicked out of the camp. You could see your character lying down before the screen fades out

crossbow: shot in face, falls back quickly

 

 

 

mage: blown away into ashes

 

 

 

melee slash: slashed..drops weps and then falls on his knees then ground

 

 

 

melee crush: slam, flips over on the ground

 

 

 

melee stab: classic death but a grab on the waist before falling

I whole-heartedly agree that we are very overdue for a new death animation. The current one is both stupid and boring.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I very much support the ideas including arrows through the heart, burning to ashes and hand on heart to falling over.

I really like the sound of context-sensitive deaths, it would make the game a lot more interesting.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Really though, most of the animations are a bit rusty. My Mam thought my character was dancing when I was woodcutting. :roll:
