Umm.. Yews would never be better for anything other than to make money. Stick to the Willows next to the small lake in Lummbridge because thre's only ever 1-2 people there, and you wont need a Bank if you're going to be burning the logs. ::'

I personally moved onto Yews at the start of 91. They're faster WC exp and the same firemaking exp per hour.

Up until then I was cutting and burning willows. Rimmington is the best place to cut them. Just go a little South East of the Archery Store there.

Ok, I have 73 wc and 67 fm.

I have heard mixed opinions about whether willows or yews are better.

Any insight from people here?

I want the fastests exp collectively, as im burning logs money isn't a goal here.

Willows

...Stick to the Willows next to the small lake in Lummbridge...

... The place he is talking about has four willow trees.

That is the best place in f2p to get willows...

...For the BEST location in f2p... Cut the lone willow north-east of Edgeville bank.

Why do you all think that these places are The Best place to cut and burn willows in F2P?

If you goal is to cut and burn then anyplace that has:

willows available and burn space available

is equally good.

.... Rimmington is the best place to cut them...

I always liked Rimmington because of the large numbers of Willows available.

I got level 80 WC and level 80 FM there.

They start behind the archery store and grow East and then South towards the Church along the coast.

So you have about 12+ available and they are not overcut by other players.

And, you have enough space for a long EW burn line in the area between Rimmington and the trees to the south.

Hope this helps

Either first cut all log in Draynor, then burn all.

Or you could cut and burn yew/willow as you go in Rimmington.

Those are the two method I use anyways.

Also, location I burn at is east Fally bank.

My suggestion would be cutting willows until 85 wc and then yews(you dont have to go that far but that's when the yew xp passes willow xp)as for fm just burn all the logs you cut and if you get bored sell the extra for a nice profit 8-)

I must concur. I have heard from multiple experienced players that this is the best location, although it is very boring at times. I switched back to Draynor because the lack of conversation and randoms annoyed me to death.

For wc xp willows have it hands down, you just can't beat them.

However if you after fm xp and as you said, gp isn't a problem, then go with yews. The extra xp just keeps adding up with yews, which means you have to burn more.

BUT, if you want to train wc then fm then deffinitely go with willows \'
