December 8, 200619 yr A while back, I was muted for auto typing. I sent in a query to Jagex, about 2 yrs. ago when this happened. They replied by saying I was muted for spamming (a.k.a typing fast and not letting other players words stay up too long. That's what they really typed!) I just shrugged it off, and went on with my RuneScape life. 2 yrs. later I go to report for the fault to maybe see if it'll work, and what do you know: I saw a post I believe... 2 months ago about Black Marks, and someone saying theirs got removed. I went and checked, and my flag was yellow, but it didn't say anything about what I did. Just said 1.5/10 black marks. I'm wondering if Jagex is just getting rid of black marks after being 'good' for a while. I <3 Gears of War 2. Add me on Xbox Live and mention you are from Tif :D
December 8, 200619 yr They most likely do remove black marks after extensive time periods like yours. They aren't out there to torture their own customers, they just want them to learn a lesson. 2 years is more than enough, and I doubt you're doing it again to get muted. :)

December 10, 200619 yr i have 2 black marks. but i was doing the same thing the author did. i was typing fast/ spamming. it happened b4 june but it is still there.
December 10, 200619 yr i have 7.8 blackmark out of 10... few cuz of offensive language and some for using auto click to alchemy... what i did was placing my mouse on the spot, and set it to click in a certain times... try to think about it.. i was STUPID! thanks jagex for not banning me yet.. and giving me one more chance maybe becuz i'd reported few report abuse... ^^ now, i have set a limit for myself, no public chatting... incase something bad came out of the msg box.. lawl
