In Parkour (and free running, no they aren't the same) whenever you do a large jump or something that could potentially damage your legs, you do a roll, where instead of just landing solid, you keep moving forward and go into a roll, which is a roll across your back in a diagonal from your shoulder to your butt. Really takes away most of the shock, and it looks pretty cool. I believe it's used in climbing too, remember hearing Bear Grylls talking about it once for a landing technique when you jump after getting stuck climbing rocks or even a tree. 12,264 [hide=Funny Quotes]So you sucker punched a kid in the back of the head?
