March 2, 200917 yr 9786 Edit: Wow. I've been on Tif/doing my homework on a sunday night (like usual) and I was getting nervous that my parents would give me the usual scolding for being on the computer this late when school is tomorrow. Then just now my dad calls my name. I think "oh great here we go." Then, he says nearly every school on long island is cancelled. I don't know where you people live, but here's 3 reasons why I didn't believe him: 1. My school hasn't had a snow day in ~6 years 2. It is only flurries right now 3. When the weathermen say they predict 10 inches of snow, they mean 3 inches which the snowplows will handle. I go on the website though and he was right! It's not the fact that I get 1 more day off that makes me happy, its the fact that my school is actually closed tomorrow. Now, I can finish my homework with a "good student" attitude instead of a procrastinator's because it isn't last minute homework anymore! :D
