just thought i'd give my props to Mike Hussey for playing so well lately..

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

hes just come to the Aus test team recently (late 2005ish), played about 10 or so test matches with an avereage so far of around 80.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

seems Mike Hussey really did deserve a spot in the team, just thought id give him a mention.

Because the aussie selectors are fools sometimes. Took them the loss of the ashes to seriously consider a reshuffle of the Australian team. They've always tried to field the same 11 players, regardless. I think over the last 6 years or something they've had 2 new players to the test side which actually made an impact.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The one-day side is still pretty much the same though :-?

In regards to the second innings of the second test, I went to work expecting a draw or loss. Got home, flicked on the tv and they were on the display saying "11 runs to win" and i'm like "woah :|" damn that was a good feeling :

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Please...no more...I beg of you! Do not mention the second ashes test! How could we lose it? How? My guess is we went out to bowl over confident. Australia knocked us around the field all day long. Ashley Giles had the chance to catch Ricky Ponting on 38 but he dropped it, then he went on to make a second century! We need a killer performance in the 3rd test if we are going to stand any chance of winning. It's not looking good though :(

I started playing cricket when i was 3, so i grew up with the rules, i think it would be quit hard to learn them straight off. If i had no idea what cricket was and was watching a cricket match, i don't think i would learn much. :(
